This is the dramatic Jurassic Coast at Burton Bradstock, beyond West Bay at Bridport.
Stroll up the lane to watch a cricket match. A glorious way to spend a lazy afteroon.
The beaches along the Jurassic Coast have dog friendly areas all year round, and restrictions are then lifted after September.
There are many historical houses to visit nearby, such as Montacute House.
The iconic Jurassic Coastal landmark of Golden Cap from the beach at Seatown. ( where there is a fabulous pub ! ). Lyme Regis is in the distance

Lyme Regis on the Devon/Dorset border is an easy drive from The Pump House. There is an all year round dog-friendly beach at the far end and beyond the fisherman's buildings on the Cobb harbour itself.

Lovely and clean property for two person. The property had everything that was required and more. The owner taught of absolutely everything to make the stay comfortable. Very peaceful and relaxing which is what we wanted. Lovely get away from everyday busy hustle, yet everything was close by if you needed the coast of visiting different site....

This Pumphouse conversion makes a perfect getaway for a couple with a dog(s). Every human and animal requirement has been anticipated and catered for. The large enclosed garden immediately surrounding the house is completely escape proof, and big enough to be of interest (to the dog!) For the owners there is access to the beautifully designed Manor gardens. This is before you've even left the property! 'The White Horse ', in Haselbury Plunkett, is a short level walk away through orchards, and is where you are rewarded with a gourmet menu. Fantastic house in an amazing location, ideal to get away from it all. Loved having sheep,as neighbours and we’re visited by many types of different birds. We took two dogs with us and they loved running around the field. Would definitely recommend.
