June 2017

Our holiday in the Summer House was idyllic and rejuvenating. It is a lovely place to stay and explore the surrounding coastline. Our hosts were amazing to talk to and we felt lucky that they shared their life with us for a week. We will always remember our time there.

A glorious dinky little cottage just made for two. With lovely garden and a sea view, this place offers peace and relaxation. The summer house is fitted out with everything you could need for your stay. You arrive to a lovely welcome pack of freshly baked home made bread, butter, eggs, milk, jam and marmalade and you are provided with toiletries and kitchen consumables so you can travel light. The hosts are lovely and you get to meet and feed the animals if you wish. Lying in the hot tub with a view to the sea whilst the sun goes down is just delightful.

September 2016

Lovely little property, perfect for the 2 of us wanting an away from it all bolt hole for our honeymoon. Superb location overlooking Perranporth and the beach with the sound of the sea in the distance providing the perfect sound track. The owners were absolutely lovely and provided home made bread, jam and marmalade on arrival and couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return!

August 2016

The Summer House was delightful, the setting amazing. The owners (Malcolm and Sally) kind and welcoming. We loved it. It was homely and relaxing. Top marks for everything. It was a lovely holiday.

June 2016

We stayed at the Summer House during our honeymoon and it is perfectly situated for that purpose. Our hosts were very friendly (excellent welcome with bread, milk, and jam). Even though the house is next to the owner's house, we never felt disturbed - unless we wanted to have a Chat about the great alpacas or sheep. As for the rest: The view is stunning, the whirlpool perfect after hiking along the coastal path, and we would definitely love to return one day.

May 2016

Spent a really relaxing week here, lovely house for two, good location and excellent hot tub!

April 2016

Lovely views, light warm and cosy, compact.

April 2016

Our stay at The Summer House was amazing, a fantastic way to celebrate our honeymoon. When we arrived there were newborn lambs on the farm and Malcolm let us have a cuddle with one of them and feed the other animals. Wonderful sea views and they even made us another loaf of bread on request. Lovely quiet location and only 5 minutes from the beach. Would definitely recommend.

June 2015

We had an amazing week at the Summer House. It started with a very warm welcome, and the cottage is just wonderful. So many lovely details, a garden that we really enjoyed. If you look for recreation, then this is the right place for you. The only things you may hear are the wind or the lambs - nature instead of traffic noise. We can recommend the Summer House without any restriction. The only thing to say is that one week is a little short.

May 2015

The Summerhouse is fabulous, it has everything you could need and more to make your stay enjoyable.

October 2014

Every element of our stay was brilliant, we can't wait to go back!

September 2014

The Summer House is a joy to stay in; a home from home, except better! There is surely no better way to spend a sunny afternoon than relaxing in the garden with the barbecue going, whilst listening to the birds singing and admiring the sea view - our hosts were wonderful and anticipated our every need, the only downside was that we were only there for a week!

July 2014

We see us next year. So long. Cheers.

May 2014

Our stay at the Summer House was a very special time and our hosts made us feel really welcome, settling us in with home made bread, jam and marmalade! Nestled away but close to Perranporth, it was a great base to explore Cornwall from.

The Summer House had everything we needed (and more), and we can't wait to stay again.

April 2014

Amazing little holiday destination. Perfect house, perfect owners.
