The cottage was beautiful in every respect. We recieved a curtesy call from the housekeeper, Shirley, before arrival, she was so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for her to make our holiday special. The cottage location was rural, in beautiful countryside on the edge of the village. Excellent amenities in the cottage....

A wonderful place to have a holiday, a lovely cottage in a quiet, rural situation.
Re walks: there is an excellent walk:- from Skilgate continue round Wimeball Lake/reservoir & also visit the derelict church of St John.

On arrival the cottage was clean and tidy. The garden was well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge and bedroom spacious and comfortable.
