There is a completely private and sheltered patio and as the cottage is set above the village there are lovely views.

The ground floor bathroom has a lovely roll top bath and a hand held shower.

The beautifully looked after garden looks out over the top of the village to the stunning views across the valley.
This is the rugged coastline at Porlock where Exmoor meets the sea.

The beautiful River Barle winds it's way through parts of Exmoor. Take a wonderful walk along it's banks to immerse yourself in nature. See if you can spot a trout!

Spend a day exploring the North Somerset coast on the historic Steam train from Minehead. Stop off somewhere for an ice-cream and a paddle!
Visit Exmoor and look for the Exmoor pony. A historic and endangered native breed, they roam freely across the beautiful moorland.

The cottage was exactly as described, warm and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was really well appointed and the cottage had everything we needed for our week's stay. The really friendly housekeeper, Shirley, popped in to make sure all was well, which we thought was a really nice touch, thank you....

Lovely period cottage in an attractive peaceful hamlet. We got use the narrow lanes which are characteristic of the area and enjoyed the experience of driving through a Ford at Bury. The cottage was well equipped and very well looked after. Whilst not an issue for us the steep stairs and downstairs bathrooms could be an issue for those of a reduced mobility. There are a number of footpaths locally, a suntrap garden and a many of interesting places to visit. It was a delight to meet Shirley, the housekeeper, who popped round to see us during the week. We really enjoyed our stay there....

Cleveland Cottage is in a lovely location with pretty garden. The house is very well looked after by Shirley the housekeeper who is delightful.
