Excellent location for great walks, got the train a couple of times from Teignmouth
Mrs Lines September 2020
The cottage was just what we wanted for a short stay. Location and village is excellent. The Castle Inn pub just a stone's throw away was friendly and the food good. I would recommend eating at The Crab Shack in Teignmouth where the food, service and views were great.
Ms Buchan September 2020
This is a fantastic little bolt hole in a wonderful location. The village is a perfect place to explore the area. I am already missing the walk down to Teignmouth with a stop for coffee en route.
Mrs Cunniffe August 2020
Would highly recommend the cottage and the owners who are really keen to make the holiday work well for their guests.
Mr Onstad July 2020
We had a wonderful week. The cottage is cozy and beautifully restored, with nice touches, great info book, lovely shower, excellent photo art on the walls.
Mr Marshall February 2020
A well thought out compact and cosy cottage with just enough space for 4. Easy access to the coast path either to Dawlish or down to the sea wall and along to Teignmouth (or both, with a train ride in between). Kids LOVED the bunk beds and grown ups loved the big shower. Pub right at the end of the road has good solid pub food.
Good spot for a long weekend, but make sure you like each others company!
Mrs Gainey October 2019
Thewalk to the beach was further than expected and steps think you should make people aware as this was much of the reason we booked as near to beach

We were sorry to hear that you'd hoped the beach was a little closer - it's about a ten minute walk (around half a mile as the crow flies) but we do appreciate that this will be easier for some guests that others. Take a look at our 'Explore Nearby' tab for a map showing the cottage and surrounding area, or have a chat with our staff when booking for more information. Classic Cottages

We had been on a roadtrip through the South of Enlgand and the Old Post Office was our second station. It is such a lovely place. It had been renovated through the owners with so much love you can feel it in every wooden plank. There is a helpfull book with informations about the house and the place and you can find many tips for trips in it. Parking is a little adventure but the people are really relaxed. We really would recommend this cottage to everyone who loves a quiet and rural atmosphere!
