A lovely comfortable cottage, full of character but with all the mod cons. Great views and in an ideal location.

A home from home in a great location, very comfortable and lovely views.

A comfortable cottage in a beautiful location only a 5 minute walk to the beach.

We had a really lovely stay at the Old Post Office. The location is excellent as it is within walking distance of the beach and there are also 2 nice pubs nearby. The cottage is well-equipped, nicely decorated, warm and comfortable.

A cosy, intimate, quiet cottage, and warm in the colder season! We loved its proximity to the coast, walks into Dawlish and its welcoming atmosphere on our return. It was obviously refurbished with care and thoughtfulness, and feels very much like a home.

Great location for walking, great local pub. Friendly neighbours.

Excellent stay lovely area great cottage in a perfect position to explore the area great local pub definitely worth going

Fabulous location beautiful scenery peaceful and relaxing. Good food and service in local pub The castle Inn.

The cottage is comfy, with lovely views & situated in pretty picturesque village. We had several tasty meals at the friendly Castle Inn pub, which is about 2 minutes walk away .At the cottage, there is Netflix & plenty of channels on the tv & the lovely powerful shower with large shower cubicle was much appreciated. It is ideally located to explore the local countryside & we really enjoyed our walk from the cottage along the coastal path to Teignmouth. Would definitely recommend !

Lovely little cottage with nice views of the rolling country side from the lounge and views of the sea from the patio and the main bedroom, the cottage is ideal for two people with everything thing supplied . Easy access to dawlish or teignmouth both only five minutes away by car alternatively good bus and train services nearby..

Lovely clean cottage in a good location for seeing the area

Cosy accommodation with a warm welcome - and with delightful views and surroundings. The history of the old post office and the work done to turn it into what it is today is just wonderful.

Excellent location for great walks, got the train a couple of times from Teignmouth

The cottage was just what we wanted for a short stay. Location and village is excellent. The Castle Inn pub just a stone's throw away was friendly and the food good. I would recommend eating at The Crab Shack in Teignmouth where the food, service and views were great.

This is a fantastic little bolt hole in a wonderful location. The village is a perfect place to explore the area. I am already missing the walk down to Teignmouth with a stop for coffee en route.

Would highly recommend the cottage and the owners who are really keen to make the holiday work well for their guests.

We had a wonderful week. The cottage is cozy and beautifully restored, with nice touches, great info book, lovely shower, excellent photo art on the walls.

A well thought out compact and cosy cottage with just enough space for 4. Easy access to the coast path either to Dawlish or down to the sea wall and along to Teignmouth (or both, with a train ride in between). Kids LOVED the bunk beds and grown ups loved the big shower. Pub right at the end of the road has good solid pub food.

Good spot for a long weekend, but make sure you like each others company!

Thewalk to the beach was further than expected and steps think you should make people aware as this was much of the reason we booked as near to beach

We were sorry to hear that you'd hoped the beach was a little closer - it's about a ten minute walk (around half a mile as the crow flies) but we do appreciate that this will be easier for some guests that others. Take a look at our 'Explore Nearby' tab for a map showing the cottage and surrounding area, or have a chat with our staff when booking for more information. Classic Cottages

Cosy well equipped cottage in a lovely Village with friendky Local pub and nice coastal walks

The Old Post Office was everything we wanted and more; beautiful location, cosy, welcoming and comfortable. After reading previous reviews about parking we were concerned about finding a space after a day out but we never had a problem. Will definitely be returning!

Lovely small cosy well equipped character cottage in middle of village & easy walking distance of good local pub.

We had been on a roadtrip through the South of Enlgand and the Old Post Office was our second station. It is such a lovely place. It had been renovated through the owners with so much love you can feel it in every wooden plank. There is a helpfull book with informations about the house and the place and you can find many tips for trips in it. Parking is a little adventure but the people are really relaxed. We really would recommend this cottage to everyone who loves a quiet and rural atmosphere!

Picturesque, peaceful, very pretty location and great to hide away from the hustle and bustle of working life. Dawlish and the surrounding villages were a step back in time for us. A great reminder of old fashioned summer family holidays. And the weather was very good too.
