Peaceful retreat The property is in a very rural setting with beautiful hedgerows and winding country lanes. Quite accessible though and not far from the B road leading to Delabole. The owners have recently installed a heat pump which is very efficient. The place is very well equipped. We enjoyed meals out at St Kew Inn and at the Maltsters Arms in Chapel Amble - there are excellent restaurants in nearby towns. Coastal walking is fantastic, with glorious views and interesting places like Tintagel, Boscastle, Bude, Port Isaac etc within easy driving distance. Highly recommend the fish n'chips at Rock (near the bakery on the way in). Good farm shops and the usual supermarkets in the larger towns....

Thank you for an excellent stay at Pottery Cottage, it was very clean, well furnished and had all the amenities we needed for our family. We had a lovely welcome from the owners, Jonathan and Sally, who are very knowledgeable about the local area and gave us some great suggestions of places to go and days out. The cottage is in a great location, perfect for exploring the North Cornwall coast, we enjoyed many fantastic days out and had a very comfortable base to return to each day. We would highly recommend this cottage, it was a perfect stay for our holiday in Cornwall. ...

Pottery Cottage is an outstanding property set in delightful and beautifully manicured gardens. Everything has been finished so carefully with very high standard fixtures and fittings which cover every need. As its setting is rural a car is essential, as is some confidence reversing on the country lanes...However, glorious coastal paths, vast sandy beaches and intimate coves await, after a short drive!...

We had a fabulous stay at Pottery Cottage which was made extremely comfortable by the quality fixtures and fittings in the cottage and the high level of cleanliness. The owners clearly go to a lot of effort to ensure their guests enjoy their stay and this was much appreciated by us. Lovely to meet them both and to look around John's pottery studio. The garden is particularly lovely and great for relaxing in with plenty of garden furniture and places to sit. The cottage is in close proximity to many nearby places to visit such as Port Isaac, Padstow, the beaches along the north coast and Bodmin Moor for walking, to name a few. It is also within good driving distance of all that Cornwall has to offer further afield. The St Kew Inn down the lane does fabulous food. Plenty of happy memories made....
