As a small group we regularly book accommodation along the route of the South West Coast Path and have to say that our stay in Wallis Barn at Lower Treggidle Farm has to be one of the best we've had anywhere. From being welcomed by David, the manager, to the quality of the Barn, it's decor and everything inside and outside of the property, we felt it had been set up with comfort in mind. If we are in this area again we will definitely try and book this property.

Thank you so much for your glowing review - your exploration of the Coast Path sounds like a wonderful adventure! We're delighted that Wallis Barn proved a perfect spot to rest after a day hiking the spectatular coastline. We really appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Tanya, Customer Support

Top-class, spacious and tastefully furnished accommodation in a great location within 40 minutes of a huge range of the best Cornwall has to offer, from Land's End to St Agnes to Falmouth and the Helford River. Only 4 miles from the Ann's Pasties factory - by far the best in the county!

Wallis barn is an ideal property for a family holiday in Cornwall. It has a rural location, yet just a few minutes drive from a supermarket. If the weather turns against you, this is a lovely place to simply chill and unwind. It’s also well connected to explore the rest of Cornwall without getting stuck on busy roads. The barn itself is really well maintained , exceptionally clean and provides clear instructions on expected behaviour and waste disposal. I had a fantastic holiday here with my family and would recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy Cornish hospitality at its best .

A lovely barn conversion with an attractive decor and comfortable furnishings. It is ideally located for exploring south-west Cornwall with many miles of stunning walks along the coast path and lots of sandy beaches and coves. The cottage is about 10 miles north of the Lizard, 16 miles from the north coast and 26 miles from Land's End and to the east lie the beautiful gardens of Glendurgan and Trebah near Falmouth.

3 generations enjoyed a great holiday in Wallis Barn. Large and spacious upstairs bedroom for nanny and grandad. Great space for a big family. Beautiful furnishings everywhere which are new and such good quality. Outdoor space good for two lively under 5’s. Wonderful area to discover new places. Very helpful caretaker and met the visiting owner who showed us around the Farmhouse and explained all about the other cottages. We’d love to visit again , it has the rural remote feeling away from it all, loved the visiting neighbours cows!! But it’s also close to main roads to get out and about, loved it!! Thank you to the owners for providing a great holiday home.

Exceptional cottage with everything you could possibly need for a great holiday. Lovely location on the Lizard, peaceful but with easy access to surrounding places of interest.

Beautiful property in a perfect location. Spotlessly clean throughout, comfortable beds and good quality furnishings. Loved the garden, lots of space for everyone.

Great place! We loved it. Well laid out and beautifully furnished. Very comfortable.

Another amazing holiday at Lower Tregiddle. Can’t fault the properties and we were blessed with good weather. Such a lovely relaxing break, thank you!

Beautiful property with great views over the open countryside. The property was stunning and impressed even my father- tough job! My husband also loved the location so close to RNA Culdrose for spotting various helicopters and jets...

Wallis Barn is one of the most beautiful properties that I have ever had the pleasure of staying in (and we have stayed in quite a lot!).. It is immaculate throughout, with the most tasteful and decadent of furnishings! Everything had been given special thought to and we felt incredibly spoilt! The sofas and beds are sumptuous , with bedding/linen of the highest standard! The garden and tennis court were an extra special touch and sipping "Gin and Tonics" on the lawn, watching the most incredible sunsets , was just breathtaking! We so wished that we had booked two weeks...and really did not want to leave! We cannot thank you enough for the most Wonderful stay....Just Perfect!!!

Wallis Barn is a wonderful large rural property, decorated and maintained to very high standards. Everything is catered for and we just love coming to Lower Tregiddle Holiday cottages.

Wallis Barn was spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, cosy and super comfortable with all the space and provisions you could need for 8 people. The Barn is located in a really beautiful and quiet area, with lovely views from the windows, amenities close by and lots to see and do in the area. We loved Gunwalloe beach, Kynance Cove, Trebah and Trelissick Gardens and Porthleven. We really appreciated the private garden, the smart television, the Tassimo and the super comfy beds and sofas as well as the lovely welcome basket and basic provisions. A wonderful place to stay, can't recommend it highly enough.

We spent a lovely week, It’s a great house with plenty of room. Very comfortable and a good place to relax. Lots of beaches close by, walking possibilities and lovely views.

The place was immaculate and there were so many great sites nearby. The basket of goodies when we arrived was a lovely touch, we would definitely recommend this place to others.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wallis Barn

Our fourth visit to this perfect "home from home" accommodation. Ideally situated for exploring the Lizard Peninsula and SW Cornwall.

We were all very happy with the accommodation and would go back again. I would have no qualms whatsoever in recommending Wallis Barn to friends and family.

Fabulous location. Quiet. Perfect place to retreat too away from the crowds.

Wallis Barn part of a joint holiday with family is using other Tregiddle properties was an excellent place for our week away. The Barn was well furnished everything in God order, and a welcome tray of Cornish 'goodies' plus milk in the fridge all added to the welcoming feeling. Highly recommended

Lovely, comfortable and well equipped cottage in a beautiful location. Excellent for large family holidays.

Wallis Barn is a lovely barn in a fabulous location. The barn itself is a great size for eight people. Furnishings are modern and it has everything you need for a perfect holiday. The garden is lovely with tennis court, table and chairs and a barbecue. It has everything for the perfect holiday

We have stayed at Wallis' Barn on a number of occasions (along with all the other properties in the Tregiddle complex) and have always been highly satisfied with the exceptional standard of every one. The recent redecoration and design programme has only served to enhance these exceptional properties. We need look no further.

A second stay in this delightful barn conversion with its light airy decor and huge comfortable sofas. It is spotlessly clean and there was a welcome basket of goodies waiting for us and fresh milk and cream in the fridge. There was no badminton available on this occasion in the garden. It is in an ideal location for exploring the Lizard, Land's End peninsula and the north coast sandy beaches and it is easy to cross to the Roseland Peninsula via the King Harry Ferry. There are beautiful gardens at Trebah and National Trust gardens at Trelissick, Glendurgan and Trengwainton, and Lanhydrock a bit further away, plus Caerhays Castle and the Lost Gardens of Heligon on the Roseland Peninsula. There is a choice of cinemas in Helston, Falmouth, Redruth, Truro and Penzance and plenty of good pubs to eat in if you know where to find them! We look forward to returning in the future.

Wallis Barn has been beautifully converted and has a light airy feel to it and huge comfortable sofas. It is spotlessly clean and very well equipped, including the provision of tennis and badminton racquets, tennis balls and shuttlecocks so one can make use of the grass court outside. A basket of food was waiting for us with a cream tea, milk, eggs, shortbread and fudge. It is very well located for exploring the Lizard and Land's End coasts to the south and west with sandy beaches at Kynance Cove and Church Cove, Gunwalloe. To the east one can walk to Frenchman's Creek from Helford and on the opposite shore visit beautiful Trebah Gardens and Glendurgan. There is easy access to the north coast with many sandy beaches including Gwithian. For wet weather there are good cinemas at Helston, Falmouth, Redruth, Truro and Penzance and many good pubs including The Halzephron Inn at Gunwalloe, The Old Inn at Mullion, The Crown Inn at Goldsithney and a superb carvery at The Halfway House at Rame between Helston and Falmouth.

This is our 8th time staying at the barn and we still love it. The peace and tranquility make it an idyllic location.

Truly wonderful!

An amazing stay! A wonderful place for our family to relax and unwind, brilliantly equipped and great scones in the welcome pack. Highly recommended.

Another memorable holiday in this beautiful location. Wallis' Barn is perfect for a family holiday and we are already planning our next trip.I would have no hesitation in returning to Wallis' Barn and recommending it to family and friends.

It is a really lovely cottage, with fabulous views and a lovely setting. Easy access to great beaches and wonderful walks!

I can't praise the properties at Lower Tregiddle enough.

My husband and I (along with various members of our families) have stayed in the all of the barns at some time or another and around 20-25 times over the last 10 years, needless to say we love it here! The premises are decorated to a high standard with quality, comfortable furnishings. Each property has everything you could possible need for a wonderful and relaxing holiday.

We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay - it certainly is a beautiful renovation and , as you found, very well equipped. We're pleased that you enjoyed exploring Gunwalloe and the local area. Alison, Customer Support.

Wallis Barn is fully equipped for enjoyment without needing anything else. The welcome pack provided was a nice surprise. The location is fabulous and The Lizard Guidebook and Cottage Information folder particularly the Gazette Beach Guide were indispensible for exploring the area. We would recommend the Ship Inn at Mawgan for dinner - great service and delicious dishes. Of course there are many other places to eat and enjoy the area. To Wallis Barn - 10 our of 10!!

Idyllic location. Great place to relax and unwind.

Lovely Holiday home - furnished to a very high standard

Easy access to Helston and Lizard area

It was a pleasure to find that the property had been accurately described, in the pas we have been disappointed by exaggerated claims or misleading photos. The property was a delight to stay in and was a marvellous hone-from-home to come back to after a hard day's holidaying.

Extremely comfortable and well equipped property in quiet location conveniently situated for so many wonderful areas in West Cornwall

Marvellous accommodation for families. Can't praise it too highly. Four generations have stayed there and all of them love it.

Our second visit to Wallis Barn, and won't be our last! Perfect location for a relaxing holiday and presented to a very high standard. Don't want to say too much or the secret will be out! Thanks to Classic Cottages for a wonderful find.

Excellent service once again from Classic Cottages for which we are very grateful. Look forward to booking with you again soon.

We have stayed here several times now and we still love it as much as the first time. Tranquil and peaceful which we love.

Overall we found Wallis Barn to be the perfect accommodation for our Cornish holiday. The quiet location and excellent facilities provided everything for a relaxing break. Presented to a very high standard and the price reduction for a reduced party of two was an added bonus. This was our first stay at Tregiddle Farm and we are looking forward to a return visit.

Wallis Barn was just perfect for us. Plenty of space inside and out and lovely views. We didn't want to leave! When we arrived it was great to find a welcome hamper of goodies and even milk and eggs in the fridge. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could think of. Thanks for a great holiday.

This is our 5th visit to the property, we love the location, the peace and quiet along with the tranquility of the location.

The property was very well equipped and of a good quality which made self catering easier, there was plenty of china, serving/ baking dishes, I can't think of anything that we needed that wasn't provided, all excellent! Home from home! The location was very convenient enabling access to good beaches and places of interest. The garden was a great resource for the older children to play/ let of steam and the provision of a brio train set was a real hit with our 2 year old grandson, while the children's books were great for bedtime stories, all went a long way towards making us, young and old, feel very welcome .

This was our third visit to Wallis barn and it was equally as good as the first. It comes out tops for cleanliness and welcome. It is such a good location, off the beaten track but very handy for all other areas. Look forward to coming again.

Lovely place to stay even in the winter, very warm and cosy. Very clean and well decorated.

We had a wonderful stay at Wallis Barn as everything has been thought of for our stay, and it was very comfortable. My granddaughter loved the space she had to roam around and play with her toys. If a fence and gate were provided by the tennis court, it would have been perfect.

Very spacious for all eight of us and quality furnishing and equipment throughout. Obviously very well looked after by the property manager.

We found Praa beach to be wonderful for families with 'proper sand' not grit + lots of amenities

Fantastic location, never want to leave at the end of our holiday!! Far away from vast amounts of people but close enough to civilisation if you want it.

Outstanding property. Welcome pack was a lovely treat and the attention to detail throughout the cottage was excellent and very clean. Everything we needed was provided...and more. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Wallis' Barn is a beautiful house with great outdoor space and gorgeous view towards the sea. It has everything you need and is perfect for families.

Excellent in every aspect. The location, accommodation and comfort at Wallis Barn were all beyond our expectation. We had a lovely time and we will be back!

Excellent value for money, cleanest place we have stayed and the welcome pack is amazing.

Lovely place to stay, fantastic location, always difficult to leave at the end of our holiday.

It's a beautiful place to stay. The house is excellent for a big family, it's spacious, very clean, very well equipped, nothing to be missed, everything is there: books, DVDs, even toys, games, dip net, rackets ... The big upstairs bedroom is absolutely fantastic, bathroom and shower excellent. We got a big welcome basket with delicious goodies and a Cornish cream tea, thanks to Karen. We really felt at home at Wallis Barn and can only recommend it to everybody.
