Wallis Barn is a delightful barn conversion in an ideal location for exploring the Lizard to the south, Lands End to the west and is half an hour from the beautiful sandy beach at Gwithians on the north coast. There are nearby National Trust properties at Trengwainton, St Michael's Mount, Trellisick and Glendurgan with its maze plus the lovely garden at Trebah. The woodland estate walk at Trellisick by the River Fal and the estate walk from Penrose Hill NT car park out to Loe Bar are well worth doing. We would also recommend parking in the NT car park at Godrevy to walk up the hill to see Seal Cove from above where we counted 53 resting on the rocks and swimming. There are also glorious coast path walks on both coasts, a favourite being from the Lizard to Kynance Cove....

What a fantastic place for a family holiday getaway. Wallis Barn is a delight to stay in, and it definitely had the wow factor, full of peaceful Cornish charm with privacy to relax and enjoy a change of scene. With easy road access to outstanding beaches and wonderful walks, it is a great base for exploring the whole area . There is plenty of space indoors for everyone, and the master bedroom suite is just stunning. We all loved our stay and would return. Thank you!...

Wallace Barn is a beautiful cottage in a lovely place situated perfectly for getting around seeing the sites and only a short drive to the beach. Well furnished inside and extremely comfortable and spacious. I’m not one for going back to places but I most definitely will be going back here. ...

Wallis Barn is a big family barn conversion, secluded but near to both Helston and Culdrose Naval Air base. We noticed in the visitor comments that some people found the helicopter action 'noisy', but our grandson had hours of amusement spotting the helicopters and planes. The upstairs living room had fabulous views, and the bedrooms were very comfortable, especially the 'master suite'. All the bathrooms looked as if they had been recently refurbished to a very high standard, and the equipment throughout the house was very good. Perhaps the only downside is that it is a drive, or long walk down to the beach and pub, and there are no footpaths to cut the corner off. We would certainly come back....
