We had a lovely weeks stay at Grenlecotte during May 2022. This lovely comfy cottage is well worth a visit , nestled in a beautiful woodland area. Plenty of woodland trails to walk with the dogs. Highly recommended.

The cottage is in a lovely spot, very quiet and peaceful with walks from the front door. Our two dogs loved the spacious garden. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was friendly and helpful without intruding on the holiday....

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage.It is very spacious and very comfortable. It a great place for the dogs , the garden is large and there is a large area of woodland that guests are free to explore around the cottage . There is a large warm utility room which makes it easy to dry wet towels and walking boots. The cottage in located down a 1mile track so the location is really peaceful .We were about 30minutes drive from a dog friendly beach at Northam from where you can walk to Westward Ho. We enjoyed a meal at the Half moon Inn at Sheepwash. We enjoyed exploring the North Devon coast and driving a bit further to Dartmoor .we would recommend the walk at Fingle bridge from Castle Drogo and along the river Teign. ...

Lovely spacious cottage with huge beds. Peaceful location with plenty of woodland walks. Sam the owner popped by for a chat to make sure everything was OK which was a lovely touch. We were a party of 4 with 5 dogs. The garden is a good size and secure for the dogs. The cottage had everything we needed for a week away. The village shop in Shebbear has all the essentials you will need. Overall a lovely week in Devon and I would highly recommended the cottage....
