This was a superb cottage, very comfortable and clean and secure for the dog. Lovely to have all the forest to wander into on our doorstep. Really can't find fault with anything. Sam, the owner was so helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely stay here again....

We very much enjoyed our week in this spacious cottage. The location is delightful, so peaceful to be far from any road traffic, among the woods and fields, we saw virtually no-one on the farm the whole week (except Sam the friendly owner!). Lots of bird life around - we heard an owl calling nearby on several nights. The cottage was very clean and well equipped, and the huge bed was a luxury bonus. We wandered in the woods one day, and found the pretty swimming ponds. Although access to the cottage is via a long farm track, we still got a Tesco grocery delivery to our door....

A wonderful spot. We spent our mornings out exploring beautiful north Devon and the hot sunny afternoons in the tranquil garden. Early evenings were spent exploring the woods and watching dragonflies dance over the ponds. A very comfortable cottage which was perfect for us and our dog but we have plans to return with friends or family and know there will be plenty of room. Hadn’t appreciated there were two bathrooms which will be a plus when visiting with others. We were lucky to have long hot sunny days for this visit but know that it would be an equally good place to stay in colder or wetter/ wintery conditions. ...
