We had a very nice weekend in the cottage - went out exploring the area as we didnt know it at all . RHS rosemoor was fabulous , we also enjoyed our trip out to Hartland point and Lighthouse and lunch down at Hartland quay .

For us it was a good starting point for hiking in the Exmoor as well as on the coast path. It took a little time to reach the coast and the Exmoor, but we wanted to be situated between both areas and it was perfect.

The property is spacious and well equipped. It has a lovely garden and is in a very peaceful location yet is not too far from Bideford and several pubs which serve good food. It is easy to explore north Devon and there is a lot to see and do in the area....
