Immaculately clean and well equipped apartment. Spacious especially for a couple and unlike some other Cornish properties the allocated secure parking space was very much appreciated. Views from lounge and double bedroom were fantastic with sunrise and sunset within view. The sound of the sea was very relaxing. Handy shortcut to the beach via the garden was appreciated. Gardeners and window cleaner work hard to keep everything looking perfect. The nearby train to St Ives was handy and we were able to explore Land's End, The Lizard, Kynance Bay, Mousehole and other places in less than an hour's drive....

Stayed here a number of times now and found the apartment very comfortable in a great location close to the beach. The local train and regular buses along the main road make visiting St Ives and further afield easy.

This would be the best location which you could find at Carbis bay in St Ives. Absolutely stunning views outside of widow, you could not find a better location than this property. Very close to the train station, and it was a very nice experience to have a train journey to St Ives and other places, beautiful view on the train and train tickets are very friendly. The property has pretty much everything that you need, it even has something that prepared for you which you wouldn't expect, such as a fresh bottle of Cornish milk, coffee machine and different type of coffee, tea... so much more, every detail is thoughtfully considered. It's a place that instantly feels like home. Our time spent here in Cornwall was nothing short of magical, leaving us with cherished memories that will last a lifetime. We extend our gratitude to Classic Cottage and the attentive caretakers of this property. Without a doubt, we'll be returning and enthusiastically recommending this gem to others....

This is our second visit to the Mermaids purse. The amenities within the apartment are excellent, very comfortable too. To wake up and hear and see the sea is fantastic. Beautiful beach very well kept the coastal walk through the Carbis bay hotel grounds to St Ives is a must stunningly beautiful and picturesque! ...
