comfortable and well equipped cottage. Lovely views. Very convenient for all Falmouth facilities.

I would recommend this lovely cottage because of its central location within easy reach ( steep steps or road) of the shops, galleries, museum, ferries and beaches. The coastal path takes you to three beautiful beaches with surfing, swimming and cafes. We enjoyed the views from the cottage of the harbour and the coming and going of ships large and small. We felt in a rural ,peaceful place in spite of being in the town. Lovely!

We had a very good stay at The Old School House. The house is lovely and the seaview is wonderful.

The property has lovely views of the harbour from most windows and was well situated to walk into town & to the beach as well as travel to local sights/attractions. We visited during Falmouth week which we didn't realise when we booked, but this was a brilliant bonus for us as extra entertainment was around for us to enjoy!

How wonderful that you had the added bonus of Falmouth Week! It must have been great to enjoy all the extra events there and know that you can pop 'home' at any point. We do hope that we can welcome you all back again soon. Donna, Customer Support

Location in proximity to town is excellent. The view across the harbour and the estuary are great. The cottage is very well equipped and really is a home-from-home. The pub across the road is very friendly and not too noisy.

An absolutely brilliant and superbly equipped cottage. The views are stunning. and the property is ideally situated for Falmouth town shops, pubs, and restaurants. Steep hills and steps make it unsuitable for people with mobility problems. Parking ??? in the car park is fine, but be aware of narrow, congested streets to access. Overall the pro’s vastly outweigh the con’s and we hope to be back soon. A word, too, of praise for the unobtrusive efficiency of booking with Classic Cottages.

The Old School House is a superb property - the website does not do it justice - much bigger than it looks and really well maintained and well equipped.

There are several steps down to the property as per website. The lovely neighbours informed us of an easy route down to the town via a sloping walkway and minimum steps.

Views from every window and a lovely garden surrounding the property the private parking is a bonus as the narrow street gets filled with parked cars.

Well positioned and equipped house in excellent reach of local amenities. Provision of private parking immediately adjacent to property is a real plus point as are the lovely sea views from property.

An excellent, well equipped property well placed to access the town centre with exceptional views out across the water...

This is a lovely house with great views over the river and in a convenient location for shops/restaurants, the beach and beautiful gardens nearby.

We have been coming to Falmouth for over 40 years and have been to many holiday lets in that time. This property was the best equipped we have visited. It more than exceeded our expectations. The view of the harbour is stunning. Overall very good value for money. We will definitely be booking again.

Excellent location with lovely views over the harbour and the river. Only a few minute's walk to the town centre with all its shops and restaurants. Well-equipped cottage and very comfortable.

Lovely comfy house with great views of the harbour & beyond. Well-equipped for a week's stay and very clean. The private parking is a definite advantage. Good base to see south Cornwall, by car or by bus.

Perfect location for a stay in Falmouth within walking distance of town, beaches & coastal path. There are steps down to the very comfortable & well equipped house but with off street parking & spacious private outside spaces this is a great property. A number of very good eateries in town, a cinema, children’s play areas and the excellent Maritime Museum. Just a few of the places to visit.

Beautiful cottage, beautiful location definitely would recommend it 10 out if 10 xxx

A great cottage/house in a superb location with outstanding views of the harbour. Off street parking is a must in Falmouth and you get 2 at the Old School House. This property is outstanding, don't let the pictures on the website put you off as they do not do the Old School House justice. 10/10!

Thanks so much for your review. We're so pleased the location was superb for you and you liked the outstanding views of the harbour. Our website photos try to depict a true image of the property, but it's always lovely to hear that the reality is even better! We are delighted you've rated this property 10/10 and hope to welcome you back again in the future. Kelsey, Customer Support

Excellent location, with wonderful views. Very well equipped cottage with generous outside outside seating areas.

A house that gives you a hug. Extremely well furnished and equipped, a joy to stay in. We had a lovely week, weather mixed but we managed to sit out in the sunshine and enjoy the stunning view. We struggled a little with restaurants at the start of the week, many still only opening a few days a week. Miss V’s tearooms in St Just a gem. Porthleven, St Mawes, Porthcurnick Beach and and Portscatho firm favourites. Thank you

The Old School House is a very comfortable and well equipped house/home in the centre of Falmouth with essential parking for two cars and easing walking access to the town and nearby beaches. Falmouth is on a number of hills but the climb back up works off the lunches and dinners at the many good eateries and delivers very fine views across the harbour and Carrick Roads including from the patio where the outlook regularly changes. A very comfortable home from home.

This is a very comfortable cottage/house located near Falmouth town centre for those wanting this convenience. It is well equipped and very comfortable with the significant added bonus of parking spaces. There are good recreational walks from the front door including boat trips with easy access to a good range of restaurants and take-away/delivery services.

Lovely property, very well appointed. Very convenient for all of the Falmouth facilities.

The property had a lovely kitchen and great views. It was in quite a central location.

We loved our stay at the Old School House. The views were stunning and the house itself was clean, spacious and beautiful with a newly-renovated kitchen.

This spacious cottage has beautiful views over the river. It is ideally positioned a couple of minutes walk from the main part of Falmouth but feels like it is in a tranquil and calm setting when you are on the patio area.

Good fitness leveles required to walk to town and the beaches.

Would not suit nervous drivers as a lot of steep hills and double parked cars.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review - The Old School House is located in the popular town of Falmouth and we appreciate that, if not used to them, some of our Cornish roads may feel a little daunting at first but with a little practise negotiating them becomes second nature! Hopefully we can welcome you back to Cornwall soon. Tressa, Customer Support

A delightful cottage in a superb position, commanding wonderful views over Falmouth harbour. The newly refurbished kitchen was a joy to use. We are definitely intending to rebook this cottage next year.

Lovely cottage with fantastic views Just what the doctor ordered

absolutely brilliant place, would be wonderful in winter as it's home from home with the amazing views, so if you didn't want to go out, you just watch the boats etc!!

Well equipped, comfortable cottage with superb views. Very handy for local pubs and restaurants with some great walking close by.

A wonderful stay in a cottage which caters well for a mixed age group with plenty of space both inside & out.

The Old School House offers very comfortable accommodation in the centre of Falmouth with the convenience of parking spaces. At this visit, it was once again spotlessly clean and well maintained and equipped. It also has the advantage of fine views of the harbour and beyond with a nice patio area to enjoy when the weather allows. It is very easy to be regularly attracted to staying there as we are.

The Old School House is a very comfortable property close to Falmouth Town Centre and all its amenities. It is very well and comfortably equipped both for self catering and relaxing. Access to car parking given the location is a big bonus.

This is a very comfortable cottage situated well for Falmouth Town Centre offering walking access to nice cafes and restaurants and local walks as well as access to wider attractions in West Cornwall. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. There is ample space in the property to relax and pleasant views to enjoy when resting.

Great property, very well equipped. Handy for the town centre with all it's restaurants, pubs and shops. ~Great coastal walks. You do have to like steep slopes and plenty of stairs though.

Thanks so much for your review and we're so glad you enjoyed your stay. The Old School House is located above the town centre, making for wonderful views, and accessed down a flight of steps from the carpark, which we hope you agree was worth the effort. Tressa, Customer Support

Absolutely beautiful cottage well equipped, comfortable and very warm and welcoming. Location is superb but not so much if disabled as steps and hills to tackle. The views are just wonderful

Absolutely fantastic holiday in this lovely, spacious house with a wonderful garden and fantastic views. Perfect location, able to walk to shops, beach and wonderful restaurants. Totally recommend The Old School House as a wonderful holiday for either family or couples.

A hidden gem! Spacious, spotless and comfortable, with amazing views and great location for exploring the local area either by foot or car. Exceeded our expectations - photos don’t do it justice!

So handy for Falmouth and it's many attractions and restaurants. Just be prepared for steps and hills.

An ideal place for a relaxing stay. Never used the car all week. Plenty of places to walk to, easy to mog around the shops and to have a swift half in the nearby pubs.

The Old School House is like a Tardis, it accommodates 4 Adults and 2 Children with ease. Perfect location , no need to move the car as walking is the ideal way to get about Falmouth. Cosy, Warm and Welcoming. Situated facing the best Sunday Roast at the Sea view Inn. Where you get a very warm welcome too.

View. Comfy beds

A lovely cottage with amazing views!. Great location, only a few minutes walk and you’re in the town. Plenty of space in the cottage and a lovely patio area to sit and enjoy the view. Certainly a property to re-visit

An excellent property, devour a little dated but very welcoming and friendly. It's a spacious well laid out home from home with an outstanding view.

Makes an excellent base to explore this part of Cornwall and so convenient for bars and restaurants in the evening.

This is a lovely family holiday home, well equipped and in a great location. Falmouth offers a huge range of activities and amenities and these are close at hand when you stay at The Old School House.

We simply cannot say enough good things about this cottage. Firstly, the location is superb. Although it is situated right in the heart of bustling Falmouth, it is beautifully quiet and tranquil thanks to its elevated position. Three generations of our family managed the steps, with each time being seemingly easier! The cottage is fantastically kitted out, the owners really have thought of everything. The generous outdoor space was a nice bonus and everything was spotlessly clean. We genuinely had a wonderful holiday and would love to return.

Second time we have stayed at this property. Would most certainly use again if vacant and we wished to visit the area again. Views, location, and very well equipped. A property that is well cared for, felt at home straight away.

This was our 15th visit to the Old Schoolhouse Falmouth, and the property has kept its appeal by being frequently updated by the owners. And of course it's fab location and views. Never disappoints!

We stayed here over Christmas and we were not disappointed. The property is exactly as the pictures (although the we didn't get the beautiful blue skies of summer) House was certainly warm enough, hot water etc. Kitchen had everything required for a holiday, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils pans etc. Their are steps to the property which you need to be aware of, but this is the only warning I give as everything else is perfect. Really an enjoyable stay and first away from home at Christmas but this was very homely and could quite happily stay here again

Lovely property, lovely views - no problem getting my man to wash up with a view like that out the kitchen window.

Amazing views and very good location. Would stay there again.

Excellent cottage, stunning views

A lovely, roomy and well furnished house in a superb location, high above the town with great views. The accommodation was perfect for our family group and we had plenty of space to spread out ~ teenager on Xbox, grown-ups watching Olympics in the dining room! Well-equipped kitchen with plenty of utensils, pots and pans. Everything was provided to make life easy. We had a superb week, with the added bonus of Falmouth Week - Red Arrows, firework display and good weather.

Don't miss supper or a drink at the Seaview Inn, your very own "local". Lots of lovely places to eat including Gylly Café and Samphire Bistro.

We will certainly be back!

Lovely, well equipped house in excellent location. Gorgeous views that make washing up a pleasure. Very well placed to get around south Cornwall during the day and for restaurants and bars at night.

Fabulous view, close to shops & beaches. We stayed in cottage in falmouth week & had a perfect view from our balcony of the red arrows & fireworks.

Our 3rd visit to this property, and still as good as ever

This cottage comes with every possible amenity from a beautifully fitted out kitchen, comfortable beds to the most amazing view. Its a few minutes from the town and we really couldn't fault it.

Excellent location with great views over the harbour. Clean, comfortable house. The large kitchen/dining-room was perfect for family meals. We particularly appreciated the beach toys. The owners have put a lot of thought into what visitors would need. Highly recommended.

Lovely views, everything on your doorstep, what more could you want?

Exceeded my expectations in every way. Very homely, exceptionally equipped, great location. You made it very simple to do business with you and everything was top class!

Lovely Cottage with no faults at all

Perfect location. Cosy cottage environment with lots of space. Very clean and well maintained with stunning views.

Beautiful cottage, amazing location. Falmouth is ideally situated to explore Cornwall and lots to do with a lovely beach.

Contact with owner courteous and helpful.

The Old School House is spacious, exceptionally clean and well-equipped. There were even items for our toddler to use and I had no need for any of my holiday back-up kitchen kit of favourite tools and sharp knives! It really was ideal for our party of 2 pensioners, one other adult and children of 2 and 6. Views across the harbour were endlessly fascinating, with a good selection of beaches close by. Leg muscles benefitted from the climbs up and down to and from the good selection of shops and attractions.

The only note of caution is some very late-night noise from youngsters at any hour, and be prepared for the incessant screech of gulls through open windows, which takes a while to become accustomed to.

Would we visit again? Any time!
