We had a wonderful family holiday at Higher Carnon Farmhouse. Set in the countryside near Truro, this was the perfect spot for exploring Cornwall. We caught the train to Falmouth and St Ives as day trips, then returned ‘home’ for nice, rural evenings away from the crowds. The house was comfortable for our family of eight (including a baby) and we brought along our dog who enjoyed the spacious garden. The house is decorated with Cornish touches and is lovely and clean. Our favourite room was the kitchen – a great, sociable space for family meals, with a beautiful farmhouse sink and wooden worktops. It was easy to get in touch when we had a few questions, which were answered with speed. We’d happily recommend this house and come again in a heartbeat....

Situated in the countryside, yet within easy reach of everything you need, the cottage was a perfect base for exploring Cornwall. The house is very tastefully and lovingly decorated and very spacious. We would have liked to use the big and beautifully landscaped garden more, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Higher Carnon Farmhouse was ideal for our holiday with two families of four. One week was definitely too short, we would love to come back! We can highly recommend Higher Carnon Farmhouse!...
