We have been to The Haven year on year, over 20 times and in all those 20 times the cottage has been perfect,i could not in all honesty find anything to complain about , just love the place,Carol the owner is such a lovely person who always check if everything is ok.The cottage is so well kitted out with plenty of everything and is very comfortable.

The Haven is so beautifully presented and it is obvious that the owners take great pride in how they present their property. It is well equipped with all your home comforts. Carol left us a beautiful homemade cake and some other goodies which we thoroughly enjoyed. Even though you need a car to get anywhere, it isn’t far to some lovely beaches and coastal walks. This is our second stay at The Haven and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Spacious cottage and many extras made staying away from home more comfortable. Lovely cakes and flowers on arrival. Kitchen very well equiped.

Really nice comfortable cottage with excellent facilities in a quiet location.

We enjoyed our stay at The Haven very much. The cleanliness of the property is excellent and it is well-equipped, warm and comfortable. It is in a peaceful location in a small village and there is easy access to the coast. There was just the two of us but if you visit with children there is a large garden for them to run around in. The owners are helpful and within close proximity if you need them.

Very pretty accommodation, and extremely comfortable, in a lovely location. But I would recommend arriving during daylight hours. Even with the copious directions supplied, I couldn't find the property at night, until I looked around with a torch, and finally got my bearings. Kitchen well equipped and accessible. A real home from home. Felt very sick at leaving the property behind at the end of our holiday, which I guess is testament to it's presentation. Highly recommended.

We have been to The Haven something like 25 times, its perfect for us , the grandchildren love the garden ,the area is quiet but beaches are easily accessible, the owners are lovely people and very approachable ,

Want comfort and quiet then this is the place. Large garden for the kids to enjoy. You need to drive to get to a shop but thats part of the charm. Kitchen stocked with everything you need and more. Lovely Lovely owner. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding property. Everything available for your self catering stay. All bedding and towels provided as well. Just bring your beach towels. Very safe garden for children too. Cream tea and chocolates provided on arrival which was so lovely. Would definately go back.

This was our 18, eighteenth, stay at The Haven and it has never disappointed, the owners live nearby and are truly lovely friendly people as are the local residents.

We chose this property for the parking, as so many properties said parking was 'on the road', and with narrow hilly roads this seemed like a bit of a lottery. Not sure there would be room for 4, but there certainly was for 2. All the rooms are quite small, but contain good quality furniture and fittings. Muddy boots etc can go in the utility, so it is easy to keep the property clean. If you like peace and quiet you will love it. There is a farm or small holding nearby, so once or twice we heard a tractor, but at night it is perfectly dark, peaceful and quiet, no traffic noises at all. Morning coffee in the garden listening to and watching the birds was blissful. We never found the shop as we never went out on foot, but there are others a few minutes drive away. Very handy for the coast, Trebarwith Stands is a must.

Stayed at the property 3 times now. It’s a great base to visit other areas and nice and quiet.

Lovely cottage in beautiful location, well equipped and spotlessly clean. A real home from home and an absolute pleasure to return to after a long day out.

This is a superb house/cottage which is beautifully looked after and the garden area is ideal for children. Trips to Port Isaac, Polzeath, Boscastle, Trebarwith Strand Bay, easily accessible, but check the tide times for Trebarwith Strand Bay. We all had a great time late August.

The Haven is a delightful cottage. Quiet and private location with superb space for parking. Very comfortable bed and sofas. Thoughtful and generous welcome pack. Spotlessly clean throughout. Pleasant garden. Great walks nearby and only a short drive to the coast. We would definitely stay again.

A very peaceful location that is only a short drive from the beach. The Haven is a clean and comfortable cottage with plenty of space inside and out. Would happily stay there again.

We loved staying at the Haven. It was well equipped, homely and very clean and comfortable. The garden was also a nice size, large enough to play frisbee and flat enough to play boules. It was also well placed to visit destinations along the coastline. The owners had obviously put some real thought, time and love into making the place nice inside and out.

Such a great place to stay in such a lovely village, so close to the coast. A fantastic garden for your children or like us your grandchildren to run around and play on.

It's OK

A peaceful location and a very well equipped, spotlessly clean cottage. The online photo of the outside doesn't do it justice. The Cornish cream tea was a delicious, thoughtful extra.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful property for a larger group, (4 comfortable and stylishly decorated bedrooms), wishing to stay in excellent accommodation within easy reach of all that this stunning county has to offer.

A lovely, well equipped and spotlessly clean cottage for a family reunion. The beautiful homemade cake was much appreciated.

We love The Haven this was our seventh stay it always lives up to expectatations,if it ever came up for sale I would buy it

A fantastic house, set in a great location.

An absolute 'Haven'. The tranquillity was perfect, and the cottage very warm and comfortable. The cakes were most welcome on arrival. Thank you

Lovely spacious cottage with fantastic garden and delicious cake on arrival. Very family friendly home. We hope to return

Lovely peaceful holiday in a clean well looked after property.

A spotlessly clean cottage in a tranquil setting with everything needed for a superb week. The cakes were delicious as well. Thank you

A very tranquil, idyllic setting. A perfect get away from it all holiday. The cottage was so peaceful and perfectly situated for visiting all the sites. The owner was very friendly upon arrival and baked a scrumptious home cooked victoria sandwich for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. We did not want to leave.

The Haven was very comfortable for our two families of 6 adults. We have been using cottages like this for over 20 years and this one rates all round as one of the best.

Far away from crowd an noise so nice to relay but nearby all things you need and will see to explore Cornwall. Warm welcome! Thanks

Comfortable cottage, ideal for mixed age groups large enclosed garden safe for children. Delicious chocolate cake and table set for tea a lovely welcoming touch.

this cottage is superb for family holiday,we have now been six times going again in august, lovely hamlet location but beaches easily in ten minutes reach, cottage very comfortable and really well equipped, the owners are really nice people and give a really friendly welcome,we love it,want to sell we will buy

A quiet comfortable cottage well-placed to enjoy the coast and countryside of North Cornwall and further afield.

Spacious, well equipped, good wifi in quiet village location but convenient for much of the north cornish coast. Felt like coming home at the end of the day

This is one of the best stocked holiday houses that we have stayed in, all appliances were in excellent working order. Everything was beautiflly clean, and plenty of supplies of household products, we didn't even need to buy loo paper. The cottage is very comfortable, easy reach of some lovely beaches, walks and restaurants & pubs. I think this was one of the best self-catering holidays we have had in the UK.

Love it want to buy it and live there permanently

this is a superb cottage in a idyllic setting its so well equipped and a really friendly owner who greets with a smile and a chocolate cake yum yum

Would definitely recommend a stay in the Haven.

Great cottage to stay in for exploring the north cornwall coast, then retreat to the peace and quiet of trewalder and the Haven. Kids loved playing in the large, enclosed garden. Cottage was clean, spacious and catered for all our needs(2 adults 2 kids and 2 pensioners!) Thanks to all involved. The walker family.

This is a lovely holiday house in a rural location, although the nearest pub is 1.5 miles away, it is a pleasant walk through quiet country lanes. We really enjoyed our holiday here and hope to return again. the cupcakes were delicious.

A very comfortable, attractive, clean, well equipped house with a lovely large garden. All your needs catered for. Wonderful welcome with cake, coffee and lemonade for the children. Would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful house in quiet location Could not fault it

lovely house delicious cake on arrival .all in a very rural part of cornwall people in surrounding villages shops etc very friendly .my family and i even though the weather was not great it was still a lovely place to unwind and relax did not want to leave but the good news is you can order cakes on your stay and to take home with you i would stay here again

Extremely clean and comfortable property. The only thing lacking was a tumble dryer which would have been helpful with 4 children returning from the beach.

We've passed on your suggestion of a tumble-drier and should the Owner install one we'll update the Web site details. Thanks for taking the time to review The Haven. Tanya, Customer Support

The Haven was a beautiful house in a great location. Only a few minutes drive to wonderful beaches and not much further to Port Isaac and Padstow. One of those cottages that really is as nice as it looks in the pictures! The cakes weren't bad either!!

This was without exception the cleanest and best supplied and equipped cottage/house we have ever had the pleasure of staying in - even compared to some of the 5 star plus resorts we have visited. Without a shadow of doubt, the next time we holiday in North Cornwall, this is the only place we would now consider staying.
