Peaceful location with views over beautiful neighbouring garden (sadly, not accessible to Garden Cottage guests). Although the idea of the upstairs sitting room is good as far as the views are concerned, be aware it does mean a lot of going up and down stairs if you want to eat outside. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of workspace and the whole upstairs is light and airy. The walk up from Beesands beach looked quite hard but we did it on electric bikes which made short work of it! Comfortable bed with nice linen and towels. Kingsbridge & Salcombe easily accessible as are many beautiful beaches. ...

Beautiful setting, very peaceful. Wonderful to sit outside and look at the views over neighbouring gardens. The small enclosed grassed garden was useful for the dog. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious bathroom with decent shower. Agree with previous comments that some parts need updating, for us this was the mattresses and sofa which had seen better days. Improvements to these would in our opinion make the cottage better value for money. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in a beautiful location. ...
