No 9 is quietly located but it's only a short walk to the centre of Helmsley with its many shops, cafes and inns. Having a private allocated parking space is very useful. If you want a break from driving there are buses from the market square - the No 28 runs to Scarborough. The National Centre for Birds of Prey at nearby Duncombe Park is excellent. Nunnington Hall (NT) is also not far away and their walled garden is beautiful. Pickering and Malton are also worth a visit. All in all the location is ideal and we'd love to return....

No. 9 is one of the best properties we've stayed in. Very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. It's only a 5 minute walk to centre of Helmsley which has some lovely shops, cafes etc - everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and are planning to return next year....
