We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Knouchley Cottage. From the time of booking, Ed couldn't have been more helpful. The cottage is recently renovated to a high standard and the views are lovely. There are plenty of walks right from the door and lots to see in the local area. We are already recommending Knouchley to family and friends and hope to return in the not too distant future....

My partner, our 18-month-old daughter, and I had a wonderful stay at Knouchley Cottage. From the moment we arrived, Ed made us feel so welcome. He had thoughtfully left out a delicious spread of scones, clotted cream, and jam, alongside some lovely treats and a toy for our daughter. Ed gave us a warm greeting, showed us around the property, and let us know he was on hand if we needed anything throughout our stay. The cottage itself is exactly as pictured: beautifully decorated with tasteful touches, a very comfortable bed, and a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. The location is superb. There are fantastic walks right from the doorstep, and a local Spar is just a two-minute drive away for picking up essentials. We were spoilt for choice with things to do nearby; during our stay, we enjoyed a trip to a local farm, visited a few National Trust sites, and took full advantage of the surrounding countryside with plenty of walks. We had a wonderful time staying in this very stylish, well equipped and comfortable property in the most beautiful and convenient location for exploring the Peak District. It was spotlessly clean and Ed was a very kind and attentive host. The cottage even has a Nespresso Virtuo coffee machine and milk frother - a real treat for any coffee lover! The weather was glorious and we enjoyed exploring each day - with some of the best views right on our doorstep at Curbar and Baslow Edge. If you follow the ideas and food recommendations in the blue folder provided by Ed and Katie and you won't go far wrong! Highly recommended....

Superb spotless comfortable cottage in excellent location for exploring the Peak District.

Knoughley Cottage is a delight. Ed and Katie have provided a lovely holiday home with luxurious furnishings and extremely comfortable beds, and really well equipped kitchen. aWe picked an extremely hot week with temperatures reaching 30 degrees on some days but the cottage was cool and the breeze across the valley was very welcome. The cottage is well placed for visiting Chatsworth, Haddon Hall,Renishaw Hall and Gardens as well as the pretty Deryshire villages of Eyam, Tideswell and Edensor and the town of Bakewell. There are also some lovely walks directly from the cottage,although it was a bit too hot to try these during our stay. We had a lovely week with superb weather. Thank you Ed and Katie...
