A day trip to the seaside is a must. This is Shaldon and the traditional seaside town of Teignmouth on the opposite side of the estuary.
There are plenty of river walks and places to wild swim.

A very comfortable well equipped and spacious property - lovely and warm with the underfloor heating in the changeable weather during our stay and have booked for another week in September. Would suggest you try some of George’s very tasty eggs !

A wonderful relaxing stay at The Granary on a beautiful farm in a tranquil Dartmoor location. The cottage is newly refurbished, extremely spacious and very well equipped. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Owners on site and very helpful....
