We had a fantastic week and loved staying in Flipflops - the accommodation suited us perfectly in terms of bedrooms, bathrooms and living space. The bedding and soft furnishings were lovely and comfortable. Great to have an enclosed garden space too. Although we were at the top of the hill, the walk to and from the beach was fine (via the very well stocked farm shop) and the coastal walks were fabulous. Even the weather was great! Flipflops is a spacious property for 6 adults. There is off road parking and good garden space. We had 7 days of sunshine and loved walking from the door to Padstow with Padstow farm shop on the way.

Flipflops is in an excellent location with beautiful beaches and places of interest near by. Unfortunatel the cottage itself had a few issues when we arrived that were resolved during our stay. For other dog owners the gardens are not fully enclosed, we had to improvise barriers around the shed. The cottage could be really nice with a little more TLC....

When we have an enclosed garden listed on the information it indicates that it is fully surrounded by a boundary, but not that it is fully secure to prevent people or animals from getting in or out so we are sorry to hear that your four -legged friend found an escape route and needed improvised barriers. we spent a wonderful week at flipflops - this was helped by the Cornish weather being kind to us. It was great to be able to leave the car behind and do some lovely round walks following the Coast both East and West . It was a particular treat to be able to swim in the sea pool The cottage was comfortable and welcoming and we particularly liked having fresh strong coffee from the machine in the mornings.
