Very enjoyable week in this well equipped and cosy house with lovely enclosed garden Walks from the door to Filey and beyond. Helpful owner and friendly pub within walking distance. Would recommend.

The property is beautiful and felt so warm and cosy. Peter had made sure the house was toasty warm for us and left a super hamper of local delicacies. The house has a wonderful welcoming feeling with an excellent enclosed garden loved by my sausage dog. Lovely to stroll amongst the daffodils on the green in an evening and locals were lovely and friendly. Thanks to Peter’s thoughtfulness and the high standards in the property I would highly recommend this as a place to stay . ...

Great location, lovely property and we had a great week here over Christmas. It was well decorated for Christmas, and very well equipped. It was clear the owners cared about it having dealt with previous comments about the need for a extra chair in the lounge. There was a good sized fridge-freezer in the kitchen which coped with all the cold and frozen food for a family of 4 adults over a week long period. (we have had problems in other cottages in the past!) The wood burner was very welcome and heating and hot water plentiful. The garden was enclosed which was good for our dog and we can imaging enjoying the garden in the summer. The location was excellent with the local pub an easy short walk away and Filey town and its fantastic beach only a couple of miles down the road....

Very nice spacious property. Ideal for us as 2 couples with a dog.Both double rooms have a bathroom each. Excellent enclosed garden for the dog to play in. Handy for Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough. Downstairs lounge a bit small and shower upstairs is a bit of a squeeze for anyone a bit bigger than normal. Overall a good property and good value. ...
