We have just returned from a wonderful week in Topsham staying at Strand Causeway. We chose this cottage as it has parking, near to a train station and lovely views of the water. It didn't disappoint. We parked the car right outside and didn't use the car again for the entire week. Topsham has plenty of pubs, a great Indian restaurant (Denley's), a Co-Op for groceries, and plenty of independent shops. We caught the train into Exeter twice and Exmouth once. We had plenty of walks right from our doorstep. We walked to the excellent Darts Farm, and another long walk across the bridge to the Puffing Billy in Exton. We also did the "Goat Walk" a few times. The views from the sitting room were amazing. The summer house in the garden right by the water was the icing on the cake. So peaceful. The cottage is very well equipped with plenty of room. ...

Have stayed in many properties in Topsham going back 20 years and this is the best in terms of having a parking spot, and the bonus of the summer house to watch the river and the weather change through the day.

A wonderful period property with everything you could possibly need. The secret garden and summer house situated behind the car parking space was the icing on the cake. Ideal for watching boats, birds and spectacular sunsets. There are plenty of good eating and drinking establishments within a short stroll away. The local bus service is excellent . We visited Exeter, Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton via this service....
