Miss Cooke June 2026

The Barn was beautiful with lovely views of the countryside, the owners were very nice and you are in a good position to visit all the places along the coast.

Seymour barn is in an excellent location just approximately a mile outside of Bridport in the countryside. Seymour Barn was super comfortable and very homely. It felt like a real home from home. There is plenty of parking outside. The welcome pack the owner had left us was super thoughtful and included a lovely homemade lemon drizzle cake which was the best we’ve ever tasted. There is so much to see and do in this area of Dorset, whilst only being a few minutes drive to the coast and the South West Coast Path. There is a road very close to the barn which you can’t actually see but you can hear a bit of traffic noise during peak times and there is also a workshop/barn next door which has occasional vehicles coming and going - neither of which bothered us during our stay. We will definitely return to Seymour Barn!...

Miss Chillingworth September 2025

Seymour barn is excellently appointed, just a mile or so out of Bridport in the countryside next to a couple of thatched properties and apple orchard. A real chocolate box location, with a very pretty garden and patio area. There is a road very close to the barn which you can’t actually see , however it didn’t bother us. The barn was beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. A real home from home and absolutely immaculate. On arrival the owner had left us some lovely homemade produce, which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Washingpool farm shop is just up the road, which is well worth a visit. Actually the best farm shop we’ve ever been to. There is so much to see and do in this beautiful area of Dorset, and only a few minutes drive to the coast. Highly recommend Seymore barn. Mrs Collins May 2025

Seymour Barn is a lovely place to stay. We were there in May in lovely weather with another couple and their dog. The bedrooms are large and have very comfortable beds, each having its own shower room. Downstairs there was plenty of room, with a well equipped kitchen and dining table. All very tastefully decorated. Plenty of parking outside, and if you have the sunny weather as we did there is a great terrace with table and chairs. The owner was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. There is lots to do in the area, we were busy all week!...

Mr Clackett April 2025

A beautifully presented cottage, equipped with everything you could need. The welcome pack was very generous and the owners went out of their way to make you feel very welcome. It all made for a relaxing break. Plus the EV charger was a welcome bonus. We will come back....
