We loved our stay at The Swallows. It is a beautiful space and catered for all of our needs. The kitchen has everything you could imagine needing and it is a great place to sit and have a morning coffee with light pouring through the huge windows. Our boys (11 and 13) enjoyed having the outdoor games room. Even on very rainy days, there was plenty to keep us occupied - games, books, jigsaws, DVDs. The bedrooms were all comfortable and the sitting area is a great place to cosy up once darkness descends. It’s not too far to the coast, there are lots of walks locally and we hired bicycles in Okehampton. For us, it was perfect! ...

Stunning accommodation! Beautiful remote location - but be prepared to travel to reach kids’ attractions. No pub or restaurant within walking distance but beautifully quiet and tranquil. It really is a stunning place isn't it? Being in a rural location, close to Dartmoor, it is a perfect base for some lovely hikes, but you will indeed need to drive to any of the local attractions.
