We had a wonderful week at Ferrycombe. Perfect location for walking to the beach which is dog friendly (some restrictions from May to Oct). Great cafe on the beach and surf school to hire equipment. Ferrycombe itself is so well equipped and presented with everything we needed during our holiday. We will definitely return....

Views and walks to die for and straight from the door. Do stop at Holywell stores on the way to stock up. It’s a community run venture and was really well stocked. Plus don’t miss the community run tea rooms at Bigbury on Sea. Stunning views and delicious cakes/light lunches....

We recently stayed at Ferrycombe, we like the cottage it was just as we expected, the front garden is a little larger than we had expected which was good and a lovely place to relax in at the end of the day. The cottage is well equipped and very clean and welcoming. The location is great and the view is wonderful, if you like walking, swimming, surfing you will like Bigbury on Sea. ...

We enjoyed our stay but paid for a week and left after 4 days. Not enough to do especially as views restricted at barn. We returned home to Cornwall where there was far more to do for the remainder of our week - so many more beautiful places to visit, easier to get provisions and far more choice of places to eat. ...
