The stunning communal indoor heated pool is a very welcome sight on a dull day or in fact any day!
There's plenty of seating for everyone in the cosy living-room.
The large and well-equipped kitchen makes rustling up any meal a pleasure.
Light and airy, Bedroom 1 is very cute and welcoming.
The modern shower-room can be found on the ground floor.
The delightful twin room is a great bedroom for both young and old, especially as it has a spacious en suite with bath and fitted shower.

Marigold is accessed via your own private gated entrance.
What a lovely spot to enjoy a touch of al fresco dining.
On entering the property, you are welcomed into this fabulous open plan layout.
Bedroom 4 is home to this super-king bed. What a fabulous bed to jump into after a long day of entertainment and adventure.
The dining-area is a great place to discuss the days plans and lay some new ones for tomorrow.
Bedroom 1 is tucked away at the end of this hallway. Please mind the steps.
Snuggling up in front of the wood-burner is a must after a day of adventure.
Bedroom 4 comes fully equipped with a spacious en suite too.

Bedroom 2 is this rather sweet bunk-bed room which is only on offer to the kiddies. Please do note that to access this room you need to go via the utility-room.
The steps leading down from the living-area into the utility-room which then leads into the bunk room.
The utility-room houses the washing machine and tumble-drier. The small fridge/freezer pictured is being replaced by a large freestanding fridge/freezer for 2023.

The communal games-room has a pool table, perfect for 'staying in' days.
Stancombe Manor is where all the facilities can be found, and it is literally metres from your front gate.
The grounds at Stancombe Manor are exceptionally well maintained.
Sit back and watch the kiddies wear themselves out.
For the walkers of the party, there are numerous walks and paths which lead out from the Stancombe Manor grounds.
The communal games-room for the younger members of the group is a godsend on a rainy day.
Even the adults are catered for with this full-size snooker table.
The shared pool is a real favourite with the little ones. Good luck getting them out!
Slapton Sands beach is even closer and offers so much history to marvel at.
Only a short drive away you will find the beach at Blackpool Sands. A fabulous day out for all the family.

Marigold is a great place to stay, having an enclosed garden was great for the children and the dog. Was lovely to sit and chat after a day out and about. Marigold has everything you would need . Its proximity to some lovely beaches and towns made our holiday so enjoyable. South Milton beach was a family favourite Plenty of food and drinks on offer and paddle boards to hire. Was a beautiful place with a nice relaxing feel to it. Kingsbridge is a lovely town with friendly people and overall a nice place to have a pasty and a stroll along the waters edge eating ice creams. Crabbing was very enjoyable with the children. A lovely park for the children to burn off some energy. There are a few different supermarkets and small local shops to choose from. We loved the stay at Marigold. We were able to explore the local area with incredible beach. We enjoyed the privacy offered by Marigold even though there were other holiday homes and a brilliant pool complex it still felt calm and private with a sense of community. Cottage is so lovely! Amazing setting and had everything we could have asked for. We cooked every night to avoid having to go out too much (even got the kids cooking) and it had every kitchen utensil we needed. Pool was fantastic and open until 9pm every day. 15 mins away from a gorgeous beach where we saw a seal up close and the dogs enjoyed the sand. Tennis courts were great they had all the rackets and balls we needed. Not too busy we barely saw anyone else at the manor. Would definitely recommend ...

Marigold Cottage is a beautiful house situated in stunning surroundings of Devon's countryside. It is homely & cosy & excellent detail to attention & dog friendly. I look forward to next year's holiday which will be my 4th visit.????????
