The Seaview Hotel, just yards away, offers fine dining, a more relaxed bar area and outside seating should the weather permit.
Seaview Bay is a beautiful spot for your morning swim.
Seagrove Bay is a lovely stretch of beach and a short walk away from Buckland Place.
Seaview High Street is a traditional sailing village.
A lovely level walk from Seaview takes you to Springvale and then on to Ryde, with cafes dotted along the way.

We have been to Buckland House previously and loved it. It is spacious, well equipped and clean. We shall certainly stay at Buckland House for our future holidays on the Island. Close to well-stocked Community Store and seafront, and convenient for exploring other parts of the Island from Seaview....

Buckland House exceeded our expectations. It was clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortably furnished. It is ideally located for exploring Seaview - the Community Shop is close by, and the Old Fort pub/restaurant, and beaches are all within a short walking distance. Also, it has easy access to many of Isle of Wight attractions. Off street parking is another plus. We would happily return....

Having booked through Classic Cottages (formerly Wight Locations) for many years, this is by far the most disappointing property we have stayed in. Buckland House was nothing like the "stunning" holiday home described. It appeared poorly maintained, with an overgrown garden, rotten gates, peeling paintwork, broken outdoor furniture, cleanliness issues and repeated maintenance problems, including a failing boiler that required two plumber visits during our stay. We were also not informed about noisy roofing works taking place directly opposite the property. Rather than enjoying a relaxing holiday, we spent much of the week dealing with problems that should have been addressed before guests arrived. This property fell well below the standard we have always associated with the Classic Cottages brand....
