The Prince of Wales Pier in nearby Falmouth is a great place to hop on a local ferry or boat trip (why not hop over to St Mawes?).
Stunning Kynance Cove on the Lizard Peninsula is well worth a visit.

What a comfortable, warm cottage. Great for dogs as there is plenty of space to run free around near the cottage. Laura could not be more friendly and helpful with lots of suggestions for restaurants and walks.

We loved our stay at Little Woon. The cottage is nicely furnished with good quality furniture, linen, kitchen equipment etc. It was particularly helpful to have an electric car charger on site. The location appears a bit off the beaten track on arrival, but in actual fact it’s a great location - quiet and peaceful but very easy to access some beautiful places such as Glendurgan Gardens, just 20 minutes away, Truro 30 minutes away. We liked the village store at Gweek. ...
