Beautiful place to escape from ‘real life’ Took our dog and had a fabulous time. Would recommend but bear in mind that it is a working dairy farm so vegans please take note. Hot tub was an added bonus as was the beautiful barn owl flying backwards and forwards around us. Gorgeous....

Peaceful privacy is what awaits at Hayleys Hut. The way the hut is set overlooking the lake is beautiful. We sat out there most days trying to catch a big one! The outside cooking area was fabulous to while away a blustery afternoon, wrapped up warm and the Rayburn burning. One pot dinners worked a treat on the Rayburn. Had such a relaxing tranquil week away....

We LOVE Hayley’s Hut! This was our third visit and we will definitely be back. Such a peaceful location with a beautiful lake and everything you could need for a relaxing break.

Staying at Hayley’s Hut is an exceptional holiday experience. A beautifully appointed little hut with lots of homely features, including a cream tea on arrival. Thoughtful extras such as a stake to hold the dog’s lead were very welcome, dog bowls and towels too. The private lake was teeming with nature. We had daily visits from a pair of kingfishers and the squabbling moorhens were very amusing. Stargazing either from the hot tub or from bed through the glass panel was amazing. Lots to see and do in the area: we visited Ilfracombe, Saunton Sands, Croyde, Instow, Appledore and Clovelly as well as a trip further into South Devon. Or if you preferred, a restful and relaxing day just by the hut soaking up the peace and tranquility. Thank you to Hayley and Tom for a wonderful holiday - you have a very special place indeed. ...
