We are just back from our fourth wonderful stay at the White Cottage. This is a fabulous place to call home for a week. The weather was somewhat "mixed", but given recent storms that have pounded this area we were exceptionally lucky & even managed to eat our breakfast out of the patio in full sun one morning (in February!). We launched our canoe from the end of the garden for a couple of decent length paddles. There are amazing wildlife spotting opportunities staying here, both from the water and what feels like your own personal beach at the end of the garden (we saw Red-necked Grebe- extremely rare, Great Northern Diver, flocks of Mediterranean Gulls, Curlews, Whimbrels, Kingfisher and swans plus lots lots more). This is also a really good base for enjoying great walks & exploring the area. Waking up from a sound night's sleep into such a calm and extremely comfy cottage is bliss. You may feel like you are in the middle of nature here and yet Falmouth with all its attractions is an easy 15min drive away. The lovely Trebah Garden is even closer and also does a wonderful breakfast ; ) Thank you for another great stay. We absolutely adore White Cottage and v much hope to return again...and again! ...

Thank you so much for accommodating us at such short notice. We had the most magical week at The White Cottage visiting the Lizard, Falmouth, Trebah Gardens, crossing over the Helford River via the ancient ferry, watching skein of geese flying, sampling Gears Farm pasties, soaking up the beauty of Frenchman’s Creek and the most gorgeous cream tea at Linden Hay. The cottage was just perfect, comfortable, well equipped with the most breathtaking views over the river. A truly memorable experience. ??...

We love this cottage. The position is superb with view across the Helford River to Frenchman’s Creek and it is so peaceful, away from traffic and any noise apart from the wildlife and sometimes the weather! It is always warm and welcoming even in the colder months and every stay here is a joy....
