We had a wonderful stay at Highlea. The accommodation was comfortable, well presented and exceptionally well equipped. We certainly got our exercise walking up and down Parker Road most days, but every climb was worth it for the views, which were outstanding! We were lucky enough to have a glorious week of weather, making the most of days on the beach and walks over to Burgh Island (a visit to The Pilchard is a must) and being entertained by the sea tractor shuttling back and forth at high tide. The property is also perfectly positioned for exploring the SW Coast Path and we particularly enjoyed a walk to Hope Cove. Bigbury-on-Sea is a magical place and now holds some very special memories for our family. We hope to return one day. ...

Excellent location and stunning views. Very easy parking and access to the property which was safe all round for our dogs. The holiday home offered everything needed for a comfortable stay.

A great location for a family holiday. The proximity to a sandy beach and enclosed garden were perfect for our 3 year old grandson. There was plenty of space in the living accommodation for us all to enjoy and the views of Burgh Island from the garden were amazing. Would recommend the nearby Oyster Shack restaurant for a meal out. ...

Superb location with great views, garden was really sunny so even if you had been out for the day, you could still enjoy the evening sun. Really comfortable beds and the house was tastefully furnished - the photos on the website are as you see it when you walk in - just fab. As other reviews have said its an easy walk down the hill - but you do have a steep climb back up ! Had everything we needed and we enjoyed it so much we have already booked for next year!...
