Guests have sole use of the summer-house. It faces south to make the most of the sunshine and views across the fabulous garden and the little pond; please take care if you have small children with you.
The summer-house is a real sun trap and the perfect spot for a barbecue.

The kitchen/dining-room is an excellent size for a cottage that accommodates four guests.

The driveway up to Ford Farm often has grazing sheep either side of the little lane.
The east Devon Jurassic coast and gorgeous Lyme Regis is a really easy drive from Stable Cottage. There are many beaches for great family days out.
There are many lovely fishing villages and seaside towns along the east Devon Jurassic Coast. So much to explore and fabulous coastal path walks.
Walking along the east Devon Jurassic Coast offers one stunning view after another.
The Regency town of Sidmouth is well worth a visit. There is a wonderful long promenade, and the cliff top cafe and gardens in the picture are a treat at the end of your stroll.

Budleigh Salterton is a truly unspoilt little seaside town. This boat says it all.

We enjoyed our stay at Stable Cottage very much. We loved the quiet countryside views and the visiting birds at the feeding station. The cottage was spacious and comfortable. It was well equipped and we had everything we needed. The welcome pack was generous and the owner was friendly but not intrusive. If we are ever in the UK again we would love to stay in this comfortable cottage again....

Our second visit to Stable Cottage which is ideally located to explore South Devon and Dorset. It is always reassuring to stay in accommodation where the very helpful owners are also located. Lovely garden within surrounding farm land with unobstructed distant perspective. Each room is well proportioned with a large kitchen diner, car parking adjacent to the accommodation. Excellent....

Really lovely and homely cottage with picturesque views and a gorgeous garden. It has a children's climbing frame and slide at the back of the garden, which our 2 year old really enjoyed, and a BBQ, which my husband was thrilled about. The owners are really lovely and happy to help with anything if we needed them and their dog is very friendly....
