This is a lovely well equipped property and the owners are welcoming and helpful, we especially enjoyed the apple cakes made from their own apple trees. There is plenty to explore in the gardens and perfect paddocks for dogs to run about. There are local walks through the village and down to the beach and although the walk back is a bit steep it is possible to go by car. This is a comfortable, quiet and peaceful place to holiday. ...

We enjoyed our stay at Laurel Cottage despite the wet weather. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The owners in an adjacent converted barn were very pleasant, helpful and also dog friendly without being at all intrusive. The place is great if you have a dog, the enclosed garden behind the cottage is secure and the further gardens and paddocks beyond are also well fenced were enjoyed by our dog. The treats on arrival for us and the dog were also lovely. The location is good if you are looking for relaxation and quiet. The country lanes around the cottage were good for walking. The Dolphin pub in Kingston was just under a mile's walk and was very friendly. The nearest beach was also about a mile away. Parking was in the front drive and was excellent, although reversing in through the entrance from the narrow lane was a bit tricky until one got the knack. All in all an excellent holiday....

We had a lovely stay at Laurel Cottage. Susannah and Alan were very welcoming and although lived in the adjoining barn they were not at all intrusive! The location was perfect for exploring the South Hams and wonderful walks from our doorstep. We particularly loved dog-friendly Wonwell beach....
