We both really enjoyed our time at the Hayloft. It is such a lovely location and the property is very well. The Hayloft is so quiet and peaceful it takes you completely away from the stresses of day to day life. 2 good pubs are within a 20 minute walk the closest is only 10 mins away. A beautiful, cosy cottage in an idyllic location. Very clean, comfortable and peaceful. Well equipped with everything you could need. Some lovely homely touches like the jug of fresh flowers and tray of tea and cakes on arrival. Loved the upside down layout. The balcony was the perfect place to enjoy a morning cuppa or an evening glass of wine as it got the sun all day. The private garden around the back was a lovely place to sit in the sun, or in the shade of the trees, and the abundance of birds on the feeders provided a great source of entertainment. The location was ideal. Very peaceful with a ‘middle of nowhere’ feel but close to the coast path which was a 10 minute walk up the lane and across a field. The local pub at the end of the lane was again about a 10 minute walk and provided the usual range of pub meals and a Sunday carvery. A beautiful walk along the coast path to Portscatho which took about 20 minutes. A lovely old Cornish village with some nice places to eat, a well stocked village store and an excellent butchers which was just right for stocking up with meat for the BBQ. Overall the cottage and location were both even nicer than described in the literature. Without hesitation would definitely return again. ...
