Beech Cottage is fantastic! It’s in a lovely location, surrounded by wildlife. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and has everything you could ever need. It was perfectly clean. We will definitely be staying again.

We had a lovely week celebrating 80th birthday with family. Downstairs bedroom and wet room ideal for less mobile. Clean comfortable spacious cottage in a peaceful location. Great base to explore this part of Dorset. We enjoyed Bridport Saturday market, loved Hive beach, great for a sundowner (NT members free parking) both about 30 minutes away. The kitchen is very well equipped. Very hot when we stayed and the conservatory gets too hot to sit in during the day to eat. We had a bat get into one bedroom one night so had to be mindful of having windows wide open at night but then it is great to be out in the countryside! Garden is definitely not dog proof and could do with 2 more patio chairs as only 4. Recommend Dorset apple cake and cream at reserve cafe a 2 minute walk from cottage. This cottage is great value for money...

Just ideal for a group of old university friends to catch up. Perfect location for exploring the nature reserve. The meadows are very special. Within easy reach of the coast

Beech Cottage worked well for a memorable family gathering, with a good convivial living space and a unique location. It does feel slightly institutional at first, particularly upstairs, but soon felt cosy once filled with folk, and having all the ensuite rooms accommodated an extended family very comfortably. Even with very boggy ground there are lovely walks to enjoy, and our youngsters enjoyed the bird hide and mud kitchen at the centre. We had worried about the isolated position when it came to eating out, but in fact the drive down to Bridport is relatively easy and, as a bonus, offers spectacular views. ...

We loved Beech Cottage for our get together. It’s a great warm social cottage re lounge space and dining space. Bedrooms tastefully furnish with beautiful bed linen and so quiet at night. The five of us had a en-suite each with a perfectly working shower and deluxe towels. Plenty of parking. Just like in the promotion photos, thoroughly recommended. ...
