The living-room has a choice of wonderfully comfortable reclining chairs, with a wood-burning stove for out-of-season evenings.
There is also a private sheltered area at the side of the Lodge. It is quite a suntrap. This area can be enclosed if you wish.

Budleigh Salterton is another lovely little coastal town on the Jurassic Coast.

A warm welcome and a lovely cottage, what more could you ask for? The homemade cake, bread and marmalade along with eggs from the ‘girls’ were a lovely touch. The cottage is well equipped and incredibly comfortable with fantastic views across the gardens. A lovely large and very well equipped cottage set in extensive well maintained grounds. We saw an abundance of birds and other wildlife including a roe deer scrumping apples and a heron awaiting a visit to the large fish/lily pond. We left refreshed with batteries recharged after a lovely week’s holiday. Our hosts Terry and Gill were very friendly and welcoming and the provisions we found on arrival were much appreciated....

This has been our 3rd visit to Mount Pleasant Lodge. We have had a truly fabulous week in this “Devon Hideaway”. Gill and Terry are such wonderful hosts and the edible treats are always welcome! Visiting the chickens and strolling around the beautiful gardens are good for the soul. We are already discussing when to return for our 4th visit!...
