There is also a private sheltered area at the side of the Lodge. It is quite a suntrap. This area can be enclosed if you wish.

Budleigh Salterton is another lovely little coastal town on the Jurassic Coast.

Had an absolutely lovely holiday at Mount Pleasant. The hosts, Gill and Terry, are lovely and extremely helpful. The lodge is well equipped and very comfortable and felt like a home from home for us. The grounds are beautiful and you could very easily spend your holiday just sitting and relaxing whilst watching the birds and wildlife come and go - it is so peaceful. It's a great base to explore Devon, Dorset and Somerset from. Beaches are just 40 minutes away. We highly recommend Mount Pleasant - and we plan to return again next year....

Beautiful gardens, wonderfully quiet location, good if you want to get 'away from all' Very welcoming, friendly owners who don't disturb you in any way but are there if needed. Very well appointed with everything you could want for inside, comfortable beds much appreciated! Easy to walk the dog around the extensive garden and nearby walks. The homemade cake, bread & marmalade on arrival were such a lovely treat. Would definitely recommend and return. ...

Another great stay at Mt Pleasant Lodge, Gill and Terry are great hosts, the Lodge is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Love the peace and quiet and lovely to see the deer and rabbits in the garden. Already booked our next visit!
