To the rear of the cottage, the enclosed garden and private parking; it is easier to reverse through the gates, as the turning circle is quite tight.

Bovington Tank Museum is home to a unique collection of over 300 vehicles, regarded as the best in the world and includes the world's first ever tank.
Lulworth Cove is certainly worth the trip.
The view from Studland's sandy beach with Old Harry Rocks in the distance, the very beginning of the Jurassic Coast.
Nearby Monkey World, is a 65-acre ape and monkey sanctuary and rescue centre.

Location excellent, agency and housekeeping very attentive Generally, the standard of the cottage was excellent, impeccably clean, and very welcoming. Especially warm and very cosy in winter. However.... Not very user-friendly: No coat hooks for outside coats Size and placement of mirrors, (too high to be of any use in ensuite.) Entry to park the car VERY tight ... suggest you check the width of your car ! Door locks to front and back need urgent replacement!!!!!! No blind in ensuite for privacy although the glass is obscured...

This was the most lovely Homely, cosy cottage. Warm as soon as you walked in the door. The Wood burner is fantastic. Beds extremely comfortable and we loved the kitchen. Lizzy was amazing. 2 Penny’s Cottages is a spacious, and really comfortable place to have a Purbeck holiday. It has character. We love space so the two of us took on the whole property, but it meant a settee, and a bathroom each. It is a beautiful property in a great location for an easy walk into Corfe Castle and all that that has to offer. The steam train into Swanage and it’s beach, is a real treat. You can abandon your car! Do visit the impressive NT Corfe Castle King’s View before the end of 2025. You will not be able to after, but you will be able to do a tour with one of the fantastic guides. Well worth it, even if you don’t love history or architecture. Eating out means loads of choice with all the pubs and cafes, and if you are eating in then the bakery, and village stores are for you. This a lovely place to stay....

We had a wonderful stay at 2 Penny's Cottages. The house was extremely spacious for a cottage, beautifully furnished and well equipped. The location was perfect for us as Corfe Castle with all its amenities was only a short walk, but the cottage was just far enough from the centre that it felt like a very peaceful hideaway.
