Mrs JEFFREY October 2025

We had a very enjoyable stay at Court Cottage. It is off the beaten track but within easy reach of some lovely traditional Cornish villages - Port Isaac, Polzeath and Padstow are well worth a visit! Tintagel Castle is also nearby. Take your walking boots as there are plenty of great hiking trails to explore too....

Mr Berry October 2025

Booked a week stay at court cottage, only stayed a day. The parking is suffice comfortably for one small car on an angle and the cottage itself was dirty- I had to clean up a previous guests dog wee in the lounge. The kitchen cupboards and utensil drawers were dirty, the floors were unclean, there were dirty splash marks up the walls from where a previous dog had shook itself, upstairs the carpets were stained, dust on surfaces you could draw in and cobwebs - the list goes on. The welcome book starts with how to turn the water off with a screwdriver due to a previous leak and the heaters cannot be turned to full ‘because they don’t like it’, you then need to pay for logs should you need the cottage warmer if you use your one allocated bag. The fridge does not have a freezer compartment and overall the cottage is very tired needing a good deep clean. It smells of air freshers which i did not find. pleasant. It fell very much below expectation, I was not expecting luxury for the price however I was expecting clean of which it certainly was not! The location is in a quiet hamlet and easy to find, the garden is good for the dogs, it could be nice however the cottage needs a complete clean and refresh- the oven has rust on the dial plate and the washing machine sides are peeling, the kitchen work top is stained as is the carpet upstairs and the welcome book needs to be a little more welcoming not how to switch off a water leak in the first pages. Perhaps I got a very bad week but It was incredibly disappointing after a long drive....

Mrs Coles July 2024

Court cottage is a beautiful home in an idyllic location. We enjoyed the garden, comfortable beds, and had everything we needed to fully enjoy our stay.

Ms George July 2024

A delightful stay at Court Cottage, beautifully decorated and comfortable, we chose to ‘stay home’ one day to enjoy the garden and tranquility.

Miss Harding June 2024

Had a very nice break at Court Cottage, despite having very mixed weather and not the heatwave the rest of the UK enjoyed! Very attractive and comfortable cottage, real home from home, with a secure, enclosed patio at the back. The front garden is very pretty with seating but wasn't secure enough for our terrier, due to lots of wild rabbits! Very pretty hamlet with walks through fields nearby. ...
