There are four steps up to the front door of the barn.
Visit Burncoose Nursery and Gardens - the family estate owns Gilly Barn and the gardens. Take the time to enjoy the 30 acres of woodland and the beautiful Magnolias and Rhododendrons. Visitors to the Nursery and grounds are welcome between 09.30-16.00.
Why not visit Falmouth and explore the local shops and scenery.
The owners of Gilly Barn are also custodians of the Caerhays Estate near St Austell and they would love you to visit during your holiday if you have time.
The golden sands of Gwithian are only a short drive away.
Portreath beach is stunning any time of year.
Trevaunance Cove and the village of St Agnes are so pretty.

Lovely cottage, a lot bigger than the pictures look. The property has beautiful views. The only down side is access to the property is via very tight country lanes, about 10 minutes worth, which if your not a confident driver you could find quite tricky, but for us the stunning location made it worth while. ...

This was our 2nd stay at Gilly Barn and we loved it ! The space, the comfortable beds, the new kitchen and the log burner. It is easy to light and keeps the round room very cosy.

We enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this property. travelled as 4 Adults, 1 Baby, 1 Toddler plus Dog. Plenty of room for all . Due to Tracey the Housekeeper who we met when leaving the accommodation is immaculate & should be commended for doing such a great job. We used the Golden Lion once for a Takeaway , the food was fine it's a short drive down the lane . Beaches close by & Dog friendly out of season. ...

Great location to get to plenty of areas to explore, roads a bit narrow around the property but on takes a few minutes to get to the main ones Lovely house lots of room to use and good size garden fur the dog to run around in Would highly recommend this and wold definitely go back...
