If you want a cottage with sea view this is hard to beat. We woke to beautiful sunrises, had lovely walks on the beach and spent cosy evenings in front of the log burner. The house was beautifully clean and very well furnished. Having a garage was a great bonus as there's no other parking. It's a little walk to the house but no problem if you're fit and don't mind carrying your luggage a little way. ...

Bright, welcoming 'home from home', we had a lovely restful holiday just looking at the sea! The house is warm and comfortable, better equipped than most and decorated to a high standard. The proximity to the Start Bay Inn with its lovely, friendly staff was a real bonus, and there is a fab walk to Slapton when you want to stretch your legs- plus lunch at The Queen's....

We had a lovely week at The Coast and would recommend a stay here if you like easy access to the beach and a quiet, pretty location. Most of the rooms are spacious and the cottage is well-equipped. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed that he could have such easy access to the beach, which is dog-friendly all year round. The garage is some distance from the property which is an issue with unloading but we felt it was worth it for those wonderful sea views....
