The crook is a just wonderful place. Beautifully romantic and surprisingly spacious shepherd’s hut. The hosts (the Rutters) provide a wonderful service, with pizza dough for the pizza oven, more than enough wood to rotate through each of the 4 different fireplaces. That the hot tub and tap water is fed from local natural spring / bored water is an added bonus. Great for the skin....

We loved this place. Stayed in lots of places in the Uk and this place was like a mini Oasis. Everything about it was superb. We got beautiful sun rises and sun sets. Hot tub and pizza oven were added luxuries.

We absolutely loved our stay. Every detail was taken care of and we really enjoyed using the hot tub and pizza oven! There is an amazing local pub that serves delicious food, The Dinnington Docks, which we would highly recommend.

Hosts were great and welcome back was so informative. We made use of everything, bbq with locally sourced bbq pack, pizza oven with pizza doughs provided by the hosts. It was a great trip and we had a lovely time. Home made brownies and drinks waiting for us in the fridge were a thoughtful touch, with the hot tub ready for our arrival. Would highly recommend. ...
