We had a family celebration with 6 adults and 2 children which was a great success. The house was spacious and comfortable with different rooms for everyone to be together or escape and have a quiet 5 minutes.The house is well equipped with sufficient utensils and a large kitchen table to seat everyone comfortably. The location is excellent with great beaches nearby ,and the Lost Gardens and Eden project within a short drive We would have no hesitation in recommending Southleigh House ...

The house was large The gardens are huge but sadly need regular maintenance Strange that no garden tables or sun loungers supplied No parasol? Only 1 TV in living room which was cold due to the front of house overgrown with trees and foliage ( not like the advert ) if you have a family staying then TVs are a basic requirement The front garage area very overgrown and we damaged our car on stone that is covered in foliage so be careful Very difficult to find with postcode be warned if you have deliveries The house although definitely has the cottage feeling could do with a refresh and addition of missing items to ensure a smooth experience The owners dog runs around and even came into the house a few times although surprised and we are dog lovers I think the owners need to be aware The house had most of what would be needed by people staying ...

We are sorry that you found some of the facilities to be lacking, we have included photographs on this listing that show the available garden equipment and all rooms including the TV that is in the property. As we have tried to reflect the property as accurately as possible. After talking with the owner, they are going to purchase a parasol and check on the foliage as they will always do what they can to make guests comfortable upon feedback. Wonderful, well equipped house with everything required for a fun-filled family holiday in Cornwall.
Key beaches are only a short drive away and the Eden Project and Charlestown very close.

Southleigh House is an amazing holiday home, it is so peaceful and within easy reach of attractions and beaches. It is accessed via what seemed to be a short well maintained private road which was easily big enough to get a VW Transporter van down, so no access problems. The house is very well equipped, the kitchen has everything you could want. The furniture was very comfortable and supportive, and the bed was so comfortable, no boingy springs to be found here, it is amazing. The garden is lovely and the dog enjoyed it. The Eden Project domes are visible from the wooden viewing platform at the bottom of the garden....

This is a beautiful cottage with everything inside it that you could ever possibly need. The gardens are absolutely enchanting, we loved seeing and listening to the huge array of birds that came to visit. And the intelligent squirrels that invented games with themselves! The location is perfect because it isn't far from many locations such as Par Sands, Charlestown, Porthpean beach, Mevagissey, Cardinham Woods. The owners are very helpful and we have been with Classic Cottages for many years, we would say this is the best cottage/house that we have been to. ...
