The Saltbox is one of those properties that “grows on you”. When we first arrived, I thought “fantastic view and nicely appointed house”, but no more than that. After staying for a few days, it began to dawn on me just how convenient the Saltbox is. It is an easy and very pleasant walk to the centre of Port Isaac – which is itself an exemplary village with all the amenities you need. Moreover, Port Isaac is at the centre of a network of beaches, coves, walks, pubs and restaurants that would fulfil anyone’s holiday requirements. The final “cherry on the cake” is that, unlike the majority of holiday rentals in Cornwall, access to the Saltbox is by a proper two-way road with no “diving into hedges” or need to reverse 200 yards, every time you meet another car. A fantastic property. Spacious and airy and everything pristine. Beds very comfortable and with four bathrooms/shower rooms it was perfect. High standard of kitchen plus utensils. Ease of booking and very accommodating as we were able to get in 6 hours early which basically gave us another day. Perfect location, St Isaac is gorgeous and well placed to explore Cornwall’s north and south coasts. Highly recommended. Thank you very much. ...

Stylish property, beautifully clean. Easy to find and nice to have designated parking space. Very close (10 minutes walk) to Port Gaverne beach which is great for sea-bathing. Also, very close to a medium-sized Co-op store. Not a house for those with limited mobility as there are 4 steep flights of stairs to reach the living area/kitchen....
