Our party of 3 stayed at Sandpiper in June 2022. One of the first things to greet us on arrival was the view and what a view. The comings and goings on the estuary and sea were a highlight of our stay. The cottage is very spacious, comfortable and really well equipped. Lovely cottage with wrap around views from the main bedroom and all the ground floor. Very high quality furnishings and kitchen well equipped for large groups. Parking space behind cottage which easily fit one family car and I expect it could manage two small ones if needed. Shaldon was a bit sleepy in April but there were a couple of cafes and pubs open, although some not every day. Village store open every day for the basics (including some wine!). Cakes from the bakers are great. The Clipper cafe was lovely, had two very nice meals there overlooking the River, very friendly staff. Very picturesque and unspoilt little town. ...

On our arrival the amazing panoramic views from 4 large picture windows, taking in the Teign bridge to the coastline ending in Hampshire took our breath away.
