Enjoy a day at the trendy sailing town of Fowey with its waterside bars and cafes, shops and galleries.
Bodmin Moor, with its 100 square miles of wide-open spaces and rock formations is within easy reach.
Head off to Charlestown with its historic harbour and tall ships - a familiar sight for Poldark fans.

The Little Cider House was amazing. It is small but perfectly formed with everything thought of. Our three children loved the triple bunk beds, visiting the chickens and discovering the woods. They had freedom to run and play amongst the woods as well as around the house. Many hours were spent chilling in the hot tub and the hammocks and it was so relaxing to be there that you didn’t need to do anything. If you do want to explore it’s also the perfect t base to get out and about. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property - I have never felt so relaxed so quickly on holiday. We had a truly magical stay at the Little Cider House for our babymoon. Everything is designed and set up perfectly with excellent attention to detail. We were very comfortable during our stay and our dog loved it too. Spending the light June evenings outside by the fire pit listening to the birds was very special. The location is great, very peaceful but you can quickly get onto the main roads to explore the area. We'll definitely be returning....
