Mr Cox September 2021

Great location for this very comfortable and well equipped holiday home, with the bonus of a sauna and cinema room. Lovely to find such a great dog friendly and baby friendly property in Crantock, especially as the beach is ideal for both to enjoy.

Mrs Thornley July 2021

This house is really well positioned for walking access to lovely walks across the National Trust Common and great beaches, whilst being tucked away from the crowds. Facilities are fantastic for one large family or two families of 4 sharing. Decor is light, bright and modern. This is a great place to stay. ...

The house was fantastic but so let down by dust around the TV cupboard. Dust on wooden floor around sofa & in kitchen. Dribble of washing up liquid in kitchen & utility. 1 dishwasher tablet. Cooking pots &; pans should be replaced they’re greasy & dirty. Have taken photos I have had many a year with Classic cottages & this was disappointing & such a shame it let down this beautiful home ...

The house was satisfactory but looked tired and needs some attention. Drawer space in the main bedroom and top bedroom were lacking. One window in the main bedroom would not open and was mentioned in the damages book by someone else but still did not open. My grandson pushed a toy under the sofa when I went under the sofa to retreive it it was very mucky! I wanted to let you know these issues as we rent houses and unless anyone mentions it you do not find out. ...

Thank you so much for taking the time to feed back to us. Your comments about the drawer space are so helpful and the owners have since ordered some additional furniture which will be delivered as soon as possible. The house was completely redesigned and furnished in 2020, but it's always helpful to have ideas to make it even more comfortable for a relaxing stay. We're really sorry you felt there were a few areas that had been overlooked by the housekeeping team - we'd have welcomed the chance to have put this right during your stay, but thanks so much for letting us know and we'll ensure this is checked and addressed as necessary at the next opportunity. Mrs Kirsch September 2020

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at The Newstead and would certainly consider staying here again! The property was extremely well equipped and well thought out - a real home from home. The location was perfect for us and our dog - 5 minutes walk to the local pubs & shop, plus 5 mins walk to a footpath leading down to the coastal path and beach. Plenty of other amenities a short drive away and easy access to the other attractions of N.Cornwall. Regarding the Covid-19 situation and measures taken to ensure safety - the house was very clean and we felt safe from Covid-19 in both the house and local pubs - all very well organised....
