Lovely view. Walks on the beach and the small headland. Not enough pots and pans for a complete self-catering experience. We ate in every night because the access lane was too difficult to use.

Thank you for your review of Carne Haven. Set on the beautiful Helford River with stunning views, there are many walks and hidden coves waiting to be explored. We do appreciate that, if not used to them, the Cornish country lanes and unmade tracks may seem a little narrow and rugged but undoubtedly add to the charm of the area. We had a wonderful week in Carne Haven, which offers a fantastic location. We swam in the cove in the evenings, kayaked, paddle boarded and took a day on the sea fishing, all on boats from Sail Away St Anthony. We even caught our mackerel for the BBQ ! Gillan cove is an excellent location that we will return to, just don't tell everyone though, as it was nice to have this quiet location to enjoy ! : )...
