I’d much rather keep this place secret so that I can book whenever I want - but it is pure magic. Beautiful unspoilt Cornwall and a location to die for!

Loved the secluded location of the property, beach was perfect for "skinny dipping" as nobody around! Fantastic coastal walks from accommodation to Rame Head Kingsand and Cawsand, Mount Edgcombe and Tregantle to Portwrinkle. Would recommend The Bay, Cawsand and Halfway House Inn for meals and the Cliff Top Cafe for lunch or breakfast. Captain Blakes is definitely the place to chill! ...

Loved staring out to sea and if you want you can swim at low tide , ( access down to beaches steep but possible ) and walk to your hearts content . Also relaxing , painting , reading is so comfortable in the lovely interior , which is modern and cosy . I will return . Thank you . ...

A fabulous location, the vehicular approach to the property is via quite a steep and long narrow concrete track which has a few nasty potholes. Classic Cottages say it isn’t suitable for low slung vehicles, and I think an SUV / small 4 x4 is ideal. Once parked there is a walk over a coastal path to the property, which makes it most suitable for physically mobile. The Retreat is well appointed, clean and comfortable. The remoteness, privacy and tranquility gave us the most relaxing week we have ever had, which combined with the stunning views has led us to book for a return trip next year. ...
