The historic house, gardens and parkland at Lanhydrock make for a great day out. If you enjoy adventures on two wheels there is also a network of cycling trails.

If you want an authentic farm cottage which the farm is around 500 years old, then this for you. Right in the lovely country side so peaceful- and lovely owners (and their 2 dogs).

The roads and track up to the cottage weren’t the best but the location was good. Overall we had a pleasant holiday.

Hosts Tim and Laura were lovely. Lots of thought has gone into this cottage. Great use of space and they have maximised the space to get all the essentials in. Nice to have a ‘pet welcome’ for our little dog. Particularly enjoyed the homemade cookies supplied (and recipe). The cottage was very quiet. There are other rentals within the courtyard but the layout is such that other guests don’t intrude. The WiFi is hit and miss (tend to get that in deepest Cornwall) but worth knowing if you need to work from the cottage. It wasn’t a problem for us and was adequate for our needs.
