Beehive Cottage is in a lovely quiet village but with easy access to main roads for travelling. A shop and a pub within easy walking distance, as well as perfect dog walks. We appreciated the cool oasis of the cottage when the temperatures reached 30 degrees during a heatwave! The property was very clean and had all the equipment needed for a home from home holiday Reception details were spot on and communication with the owner perfect. We hope to return in future....

Bee Hive is ideally situated for going out and about visiting Bridport, Burton Bradstock, Dorchester, and Lulworth. The Hive at Burton Bradstock on the beach is worth a visit for breakfast.

Beehive Cottage is perfectly located for travel to most of south Dorset. Situated in a small friendly, peaceful village where you can really get away from it all. The cottage is cosy and comfortable and has everything you need for your stay

The kitchen is tiny but efficient and we loved the stable door into the courtyard garden. The bathroom is on the ground floor but there is a separate toilet on the first floor. There are several footpaths around the village and everyone we met was very friendly. Despite being on the road, there was surprisingly little traffic noise and no problem parking outside the cottage. There is a Spar shop within walking distance which was very useful. ...

We had a lovely stay here. The cottage was very warm and cosy even with the heavy frosts. The location is excellent with much to see/visit all easy reach by car. We also used the bus to visit Dorchester (limited service compared to our town) but nice to use. We walked to Athelhampton House (well worth a visit), roughly 20 minutes walk. It was nice being able to park right outside our door too. A lovely cottage in a great village. ...
